Is Gerald Wallace still on the block?

I know at the trade deadline his name was on the market. I just wanted to know if with economy down and Bobcats rumored to lose millions was G-Force still on the trade block. I think he is a perfect Larry Brown guy and he does all the intangibles for the team but front office knows he doesnt put North Carolina people in the seats.

I know before it was Gerald and Nazr for an expiring but I am certain that after the way he played since coming back from that collapsed lung you can probably get more. Plus Cats are rumored to want to keep Felton and May and still possibly sign Iverson besides have to sign a high pick. I just wanted to know what his value was.

Besides that congratulations on a good season. I thought the Bobcats was the wildcard and would have taken any team to 7 games. Larry Brown always does it. Better Luck next season.

Everyone is always on the block. Weather or not you get heard depends on what you are offering. What did you have in mind?

Just so you know - it would have to be a hell of a lot more than just an expiring yo get Crash away from us.

For eg: Ben Wallace is NOT going to get you Crash and Nazzy.

If it nets us 2 good defensive players I would be down. Wallace's stock is highest right now as its ever been, but I don't think he's going in the offseason. Now say we're stinking it up in the beginning of the season, then it becomes more likely.

I don't think there is anything JRich can do now to not always be remembered by the greatest block in nba history that Lebron did to him.

As for Crash on the block they are all on the block because non of the Bobcats are stars. None of them can carry a team or really even close.
There are very few players that are not on the block and they are in order imo

1.Lebron
1.Kobe
3.Howard
4.Wade
5.Rose
6.Paul

And that is about it. By the way that is the same list of best players in order starting 2011.

It wasn't called as a foul and even though he did foul him it doesn't matter. It was so stupid for him to do that in a game that they really needed trying to make the playoffs with Lebron lerking. Lebron could have easily gotten all ball. It was just dumb luck he fouled him. It was rediocoulus and halirious.
I can't believe your defending it. You were a big JRich fan?

I'm a fan of good officiating - which that wasn't.

Who cares if it wasnt a foul. Why was he trying to do a 360 in a game they needed badly with Lebron lurking who is now and at the time a known shotblocker. It was the biggest bonehead play Ive have seen in such a long time. I haven't laughed that hard since Kobe dunked on Ming 5 years ago.
Im still schocked ur defending it. It was the most selfish thing u could possibly do and he didn't deserve a call he deserved to be knocked on his ass and that is what happened. I am not a Lebron fan but I was that day.
Your in denial.

It wouldn't have mattered if Richardson had finger rolled it, back board slapped it, pulled up 2ft in front of the hoop and shot it, put it between his legs and dunked it, LBJ still fouled the snot out of him and it wouldn't have been called.

Not deinal - just plain fact.

That's one of the biggest things wrong with the league - but if you want to support that, power to you. I personally perfer a more fair, level playing field for all teams/players to play on so the best of the best win, not the best who get star treatment and either fouls called on them or for them that others wouldn't get.

That is total b.s. He slowed down and prepared to do a 360. If he just ran as fast as he should have and slammed it home with 1 hand he would have scored. It wouldn't have been blocked with the 1 hand instead of 2 hands in the air high spinning thats very different.
Come on there is no way in hell anybody debates besides maybe people on this board or the Suns board and maybe the Warriors board.

It was a really stupid move on Rich's part, but LeBron hacked the crap out of him.

Thank you. I agree it was a foul and always did but it was really stupid on JRichs part. Pathetic really.

I'm going to start calling you Tommy Lee Jones or Aaron Eckhart or something.

If you thought, and always thought, it was a foul, then why did you referr to it as "the greatest block in nba history" in your original post on the subject?

Please help because I really don't want to be banned and you know I don't like fighting I just finally siad something back because because thetrufire keeps insulting me or my posts. Look at the all positive thread, he even dissed me there. It won't happen again though, I won't name call anymore no matter what anybody says to me.

Let me explain....

Dexmor wrote:I said it was a foul from the begining though.

Lets check the first post.....

Dexmor wrote:I don't think there is anything JRich can do now to not always be remembered by the greatest block in nba history that Lebron did to him.

No mention of a foul......

Slam then pointed out that Lebron's "block" involved a pretty clear hack, which could threaten its position as "the greatest block in NBA history," You then changed the subject to whether or not it was wise for Jrich to attempt the 360. (something that Slam did not mention at all)

Slam then clarifies that he was only saying that the "block" was really a clear foul, and Jrich's decision making is not really what we are talking about. You continue to pound home your point about Jrich being foolish.

So....

You continue to pound away at "Jrich was stupid" something that Slam hasn't argued with, while ignoring the main argument of whether or not it was a foul, and if that effects the plays status as "greatest block in NBA history," Hence the comparison to Aaron Eckhart's character in "Thank you for Smoking,"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thank_you_for_smoking

as for Tommy Lee Jones, I have no idea.....

As far as the summary of events that's it in a nutshell e4 and perfectly put but I was actually going with the "Batman" angle with the Eckhart and Jones reference.

Damn. Thought it might have been too obscure!!
