Hello everybody. I'm new to membership on the board though I have been a longtime observer of all the forums on REALGM. I"m from Australia & I started supporting the franchise in their first season of existence as I felt that as a new franchise & the first expansion team i can actually remember I could support them as if they were my own hometown team. I loved the Hornets back in the day & was disappointed when Shinn moved them. I'm glad to now be a part of our board & it's such an exciting time of the year to join. I just wanted to let you know that I am not a troll & thankyou for reading my first post.

Sik - great to have you as a part of the board. Look forward to seeing more of your posts. Always good to add another Aussie! Outside of the Bucks the Bobcats must have the biggest Aussie following in the NBA!

Where in Oz are you from?

Thanks Big Slam, I'm from Tasmania which is a little island south of the Australian Mainland. Half a million people live here. I love the bobcats, think The Carolina's is the real home of bball (not NYC) & have a soft spot for the Thunder (damn the tyrannical owners) Personally I don't like Bogut's arrogance. He caused a bit of controversy over here when he claimed he was the best Australian player ever in his rookie season to a media outlet over here. (Andrew Gaze is our best player ever & Bogut doesn't produce that much) I don't know what other Australians think of him.

I live in Canada but I'm also an Aussie. There are actually few of us that post here. I'm from Melbourne (more central Vic, but you get the idea).

I think that Bogut was a lot better in the Syd Olympics than he has been in the NBA! He's not the passer that I thought he was and I think he's a little too big which effected some of his mobility and speed that he showed early on.

Gaze is a God. Heal was no slouch either (pity he wasn't 5 inches taller!).

What do you think about Ogilvy? Is he getting much hype back there?

When is the AFL going to start an expansion team down your way? Gold Coast FC? Are you freaking kidding me? A Tassie team is LONG over due IMO.
