post your good luck charm for the lottery

since we are sending our very own leprechaun to the lottery i figured we could also send some good luck charms with dj.

voodoo dolls always do wonders for my fantasy football teams. while i dont believe in good luck charms, i do believe in putting a hex on the other 13 teams. therefore, i curse the other lottery teams. [commence evil eye]

I believe you would have better odds buying 5 North Carolina Education Lottery® Instant-Win Scratch-Off© tickets and winning money on all 5...but...

This will be the first time I'm not working on lottery night? Maybe that is good luck?

Oh, and I've won 7 out of 9 lottery tickets this past week >_>

Fats, here's an idea for a voodoo creature.

Make a multi-bodied doll with the other 13 lottery teams jerseys included. Then put the pins right through the numbers of each. Maybe a little sacrificial (ketchup) blood for effect! Give it to the guy witnessing the ball draw.

Maybe we can get Steve-o to illustrate this for us. :lol:

Or we can just send up an autographed photo of Grand Mama. Our earliest big break-thru in Charlotte draft history.

I'm not doing anything this year.

Overall, we have a 2.5% chance of winning a top three pick. When you look at it that way, it doesn't sound quite so bad.

I'd be VERY happy if we landed the 3rd overall pick. Just as happy as if we landed that 1st in fact.

The 3rd pick would suck nuts....... I'd trade the thing just so they can't **** it up. They'd probably select Lawson with it or something dumb like that.

looks like you guys are leaving it in the hands of my voodoo dolls. i might be able to curse 5 or 6 teams, but 13...that will take a lot of energy. i need to rest for tonight.

Griffin would be a franchise maker at #1. I'd also LOVE #2. Do you know what other teams who need Rubio would give for him? We could likely trade back 2-3 spots and still get Harden, but those teams would likely trade next year's 1st rounder just to get Rubio at #2. That would almost be just a great as landing Griffin. At #3, Harden would be awesome for us.

I was thinking the same thing. If we did land at #2 and could trade it (Rubio) for someone elses pick (Harden) and their 1st next year it would replace the one we owe the Nuggets.

I have a total love hate thing for this. The anxiety kills me but the actually draft to me is more fun then a game 7. I don't have a good luck charm but I got a pad and paper to memorize who has the picks in what order.

I cannot await the outcome of the Lottery.
Have a good Feeling. I am invited for dinner eting a deliose piece of Argentinian Beef ( i am in Buenos aires at the Moment) and while i hafe to do smalltalk i am thinking about the Lottery. life is hard .
So hopefully when i am back in the Hotel i see that the Bobcats won the Lottery and the Lakers are 20 Points ahead of the Nuggets by halftime.
