i'm not sure felton could mentally handle the idea of signing to be chris paul's backup.

That is the truth. But name me another PG who, if on the same team, would not be Paul's backup? He is simply the best PG in the game right now. And odds are that Ray would still play a lot as he would likely be used as a PG/SG combo. But I'm sure playing a backup role would stifle the advancements he made this past season.

Unless he played next to him, no, he would be his backup.

I would absolutely love for one of these guys to drop to 12th. On the other hand, I'm not counting on either being there for us at 12.
I agree with everyone else that Shinn wants to trade expensive for cheap. Not the other way around. Shinn would feel better getting VladRad and Singletary, rather than the Dynamic Salary Duo.
But hey, I'd do the first trade at least. New Orleans wouldn't. Too bad.

Felton is a restricted free agent and just a guess his market will probably be in the 7-8 million range dont know if the Hornets would want to pay a back up PG that much especially when they still have Antonio Daniels on the books as the PG for 1 more year at a nice salary and they seem to be a better team with Chandler so if they still want to move him it's too cut cost not sure signing a backup to a 7-8 mill salary would be in their plans....
Also much like Okafor last year Felton is a restricted Free Agent, wouldnt the Base year compensation rule apply to him as well, where you can only take back so much salary in return making it hard to trade them??

What do you think about this other Off-season?
We trade Mohammed and Radmanovic xxx Dalembert, yeah,he is completely overpaid, but Mohammed doesn´t count on Larry Brown plans, and Radmanovic...15 milliones/2 years for a 9 points guy...I don´t think he worths it,at least,Dalembert is tall and athletic and he could be a 10-10.
I´ve read that the Pistons would do an Okafor-Hamilton,i´d sign it,we lose EO50,but we earn an amazing scorer/shooter,in the position of Sg,so we can move Bell to the bench to have a nicke backup.
Finally we trade Felton (3 years,7 milliones) for Blake and Batum. The Blazers need to sell some wing players to clear space for Turkoglu, and with Felton they solve their PG problem,a young guard who fits on McMillan´s System, and is much younger than Andre Miller. We earn a backup for Diaw/Wallace and a decent backup PG.
On the FA we try to go for Frye,McDyess or Rasheed, and on the draft we choose Rozan/Ellington/Henderson.We would have tons of Sg´s,but with the teaching of Bell and Rip,in two years time, our pick would probably become a nice 15 ppp player.
Our new team:
Augustin-Hamilton-Wallace-Diaw-Dalembert
Blake-Bell-Batum-Frye/May-McDyess/Ajinca/Diop

Hamilton isn't an amazing scorer, and he signed a 3 year/34 million dollar contract extension with the Pistons this season.
I would gladly take Okafor at 12M per year than Hamilton at 11.33M per year.
Also, that would leave Diop as our starting center.

I'm not sure what makes you think Philly would give us Dalembert for Mohammed and Radmanovic.

Ok,he is not a Kobe Bryant or a Brandon Roy,but he could easy go to 20 ppg, caus he will be our first option when attacking. If we have to trade Okafor for that,I´d do it in a heartbeat.
We need a pure star, and I think RIP is probably one of the more underrated stellar shooting guards ,and key on the success of the Detroit Pistons.
Dalembert xxx Mohammed and Radmanovic: The 76ers desesperately want to get rid of Samuel and his 13/14 milion contract,he is cutting Speight´s progression, and his last season was just horrible, they let him go and they earn a Shooter (They need 3 pointers) and a backup center for Speights/Brand,they will be paying the same amount, but for useful players in their system
