But admits that Lexy should have been sent down to the D much earlier last season (still not sure why he didn't do that?)

Alexis Ajinca, currently working out in Dallas, needs to be more coachable next season. Brown said Ajinca didn't handle not playing very well. Brown now thinks it would have been beneficial for Ajinca to play more last season in the development league.

strange to hear that. i though LB LOVED lexy's coachability. thats all he ever talked about, was how lexy only had to be told once.

doenst make sense. also doesnt give me lots of confidence in lexy.

doesnt sound LB is too happy about the ownership change either. and again somebody calling for MJ to get more involved. never heard that one before.

I didn't read it that way. I'm sure Lexy is still quick on the up take and grasps things easily, I think he might have been pouting a little about not getting any burn.

That's why LB said he should have sent him to the D earlier so he could at least get some game time.

No wonder Lexy beat up on Aaron Gray. He was frustrated. Like a caged lion.

i dont know why lexi would have expected more time. i would have thought that would be a given, but then again, i'm sure all players want to play.

so does lexy spend time in the d league again next year?

I expect Jordan to be in place next year no matter who the owner is. He's Michael friggin Jordan, how are you going to tell him he's not doing what he's supposed to be doing.

Can we get one of those owners with crazy cash that says he/she will spend whatever it takes to win a championship. Oh man that'd be awesome!

LB's probably trying blame Lex for sucking and making him look bad for taking him so high.

I still think he was "default" after Hibbert got taken.

Jordan will end up being the majority owner. I think a big part of the reason Johnson wanted the franchise in the first place was to lure MJ into going in business with him. Maybe a deal gets worked out where he doesn't sell all his stock, but enough to get MJ the majority.

I doubt that Lexy expected time int he NBA but maybe Lex was PO'd because he wanted to go to the D to at least get some burn but LB wouldn't send him down?

I'd say that if Lexy checks back in after the summer with adding the type of muscle/shape that Twiggy did between his 1st and 2nd years that he should stay in the NBA for a little while.

If he arrives still stick thin then I would start him in the D.

no shame in being hibberts default though.

i would have really questioned our drafting skills if we would have passed on hibbert that late in the draft.

Ajinca was a poor pick, I still say it! Maybe he turns into enough of a player to get NBA time, but he was picked far too high. For LB to call him out and crack his knuckles is interesting, and instructive. Let's see if it motivates him to work harder or pout even more. The kid better get with the program.

The Nazi comment also struck me. I thought LB's history with Mohammad would have helped last year but, obviously, something wasn't happening.

maybe if nazr would have worked this hard last summer he wouldnt have been sitting on the bench.

i remember, nazr was the only one who wasnt at the summer camps with the rest of the team prior to the summer league.

I'd still be surprised if Ajinca works out to be a good player. He reminds me of a more clumsy Jerome Moiso, except maybe he can shoot a little better.

I'll hate on the Ajinca pick all day... much like with Morrison, before our pick I sat there and said "anyone... ANYONE but Ajinca." I saw no way we passed on Arthur, in particular. And now LB doesn't even like him? Kill me now.
