Any interest still in Tinsley???

Post#1 » by DWCP2 » Sat Jun 6, 2009 11:02 pm

Just curious.

I'm not looking for a Felton deal like the one at the deadline, but I'm also not looking for Mohammad either. I was actually curious if Radmanovic is available and if a deal could still be triggered?

Thanks!

The Pacers need to just buy him out and let him go to the Dleague.

Radmanovic is an active player who is productive and not a locker room distraction.

Tinsley still has a couple of years left on his deal and has been ordered to stay away from the team.

In order to get rid of him via trade, you would have to relinquish an asset at the same time - like a young prospect or a draft pick. Like JMillot said, you'd be best just to buy him out rather than trying to off load him to some other team.

When was there any interest in Tinsley? All I can honestly remember was the debate of would it be worth taking on Tinsley to get Mohammed off the Bobcats.
Why haven't the Pacers just cut him yet? They sat him healthy for a full year and pretty much told anyone that would listen in one way or another, that having him around a team was a bad idea. Then they held out for decent trades?!?!??!?!?!? I mean honestly. "This car runs like **** and is 90% covered by rust and only the back window isn't plastic wrap...so you gonna offer me $20,000 or what?"

Radmanovic isn't all that productive and he certainly has ego issues. From watching him play this season, I can see why Phil Jackson referred to him as the "Space Cadet". I cringe every time he tries to put the ball on the floor ... turnover waiting to happen.

But I'm hoping the offseason and training camp will help him get the game back that he lost playing part of the triangle offense, as LB suggested so many times.
Humble yourself.

Radman is an asset as are all 6'10 guys who can shoot the three that well. Sure he leaves something to be desired in other areas but he opens up the paint which is very valuable to the BCats who have long suffered for proper floor spacing.
