http://www.goldenstateofmind.com/2009/6 ... nd-bobcatsI don't know about this. I love Raja (no homo) but we would get 2 younger Swingmen in return.

I think the Cats have to do that trade..... I hate seeing Bell go, but Buike and Belinelli for an aging Bell is to good of an opportunity to let slip.
In money terms, Bell has $5,250,000 coming this season and then he's off the books. Buike is $3,100,000 this year and a player option the season after for $3,300,000. Belinelli has $1,547,640 this season, a team option of $2,380,270 the following year and then qualifying offer of $3,377,604 for 11/12.
DO IT.................

Check discussion below the article. Very absurd.

FYI: Givony is also the one who said that there were problems between the W's and Ellis and that Don Nelson was directed who to draft this year by Monta.
I think he needs to improve his sources.

It would seem to me that the GSW are giving up too much for a 33 year old shooting guard...that said they do have like a million shooting guards

I think it's a great trade. We get a good young SG to start and a swing player to be a reserve 2 and back up 1. Bell has some mileage and is not likely to be re-signed after next season anyway. I like Azubuike. He's not getting minutes with Crawford remaining and Ellis returning. He could become a solid starter for us.
It is said the Warriors are targeting Curry at 7. If he's not available, and Jordan Hill is, I would like to see us do another deal to get the 7th pick (swap Ajinca and the 12 for the 7). That way the Warriors get the reserve SG they need, plus a big man, and still can draft a quality player at 12. We would then have Jordan Hill as our rookie reserve PF and someday starter, AZ to be our starting 2, Belinelli to back up the 2 and a deep reserve at the 1.
GET THIS DONE!

Looks like a good deal for us....
I might consider Azubuike for Bell straight up, Belinelli is just icing.
I don't see why the W's would do it.

From the report it sounded like this is a deal the Cats have on the table for the Warriors. Doesn't mean they like it, but it must be receiving some consideration.
Lot's of deals get top this stage and die. I hope this one grows legs and runs!

one thing we have going for us...GSW has a ton of wings and nelson and the GM are on a very very short win now leash....they may just do it..but it has to be done before the draft cause it will have a huge effect on who we draft

From "Bob"
If Charlotte throws in #12 its more fair.
or from "LostHawk"
if we can do this and toss in maggs/crawford and get wallace….we’d be set
Awesome, just simply awesome. The "have you seen by baseball" guy from Something About Mary would be embarrassed for these people.
Usually trades that get reported like this before they happen, don't happen. But if something like this could somehow happen, i'd be amazed.

As a warriors fan, I love this trade..Our team basketball IQ is below the (Please Use More Appropriate Word) level..We desperately need an old vet like Raja Bell.
Belinelli swims with the fishes..He's a fine talent, but he was never going to make it on the warriors..GL Marco..
Azubuike's as dumb as that big rock in your backyard.

Maybe it's Beli that LB is targeting in this trade and Buki comes along as filler to make it work?
I'm the world's 44th biggest Larry Brown fan.. I got to believe he's not after Buke.

I think beli has to be the target and LB got along with vlad and he is a space cadet too so maybe he has a place for buki....right now both of those guys offensively are better than one raja so i cant hate....i just hate to see the kobe stopper go

The trade makes sense for both teams. We are in dire need of some wing players and GSW have an abundant of wing players.

If this trade goes through, I'm guessing the Bobcats would then look at drafting Earl Clark or DeJuan Blair, or even trading the pick.
