NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!?!??!???!?!?!??!?!??!?!??!??!? Why GOD, Why?!?!

If hes willing to take some cheap ass contract to stick around for another year or two, then maybe sign him. Otherwise cut the feeding tube.

What are the alternatives in regards to backup PF assuming we take Williams?

We'll most likely be about 2-3 million under the luxury tax.

Spectre, here's what I'm imagining. Take BPA B/W the 2s and 4s at 12, double up on which ever spot we don't take with 40 and the other pick in an attempt to nab this year's LR Mbahamoute, Landry, Millsap, etc, etc.

As long as we signed him cheap to an unguaranteed contract I wouldn't complain.

I'm almost willing to bet we get rid of at least one and probably both of those 2nds...and most likely for cash. If it's just one it'll be 40th.

I like your thinking tho and that's what I'd do.

I totally agree with not giving May the QO and I expect him back on a minimal deal. It just SUCKS that once again we're left depending on his fat arse.

Crucial word in bold.

Our options at PF? Boris, Vlad, Lexy and in some matches Emeka (counting Crash as SF although our forward spots are bit interchangeable). I would love to bring back Juwan Howard for leadership, teaching a solid minutes from bench. I'm not familiar with who is FA this year, I just think Varejao is not an option cause we would have to overpay him.

Dont throw money away. He's had his chance. Let him take someone else's money. I have no faith in him anymore.

Doesn't sound like Fatty McFatsta is going to cut us much of a break:

How about using the great french connection? I'd rather see if Ajinca can cut it playing the 4 than giving another contract to McMay. Even on the cheap, I think you'll get less than what you pay for with McMay.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I agree. Professional players who are lazy and don't care about being in shape are bad teammates. You cannot win with these types so good riddance. Wouldn't even take this clown on a non-guaranteed deal.

I wouldn't be terribly interested in him on ANY deal. He'll just steal minutes from Jinx. He needs a new start anyway, maybe he can find a club in a city with no strip clubs or buffets.

He's had his chance. I just want to make him an footnote in the Bobcats history

That footnote would read: Dumb a$$ lottery selection......

We're talking about replacing a guy who hardly ever contributed. 82 games, 4 seasons into his NBA career. I'll be honest, if Channing Frye winds up being the answer...I honestly won't mind.

as far as a list, this is all I could find and be too lazy to do it myself.

Too bad things didn't work out for him. If he had stayed healthy he could have been a pretty good starter. He showed alot of promise in his rookie year.
