wish we could have nabbed Williams. I have to admit i'm extremely biased against Gerald, ever since that blatent cheapshot to Hans.

Hope you don't mind, I changed the title?

There are 3 1/2 Duke fans at my house. None of them can sell EACH OTHER on the Hendo pick.

yeah, I hope it works out. I think that it's good that we got a Duke player to give some love to the other NC teams, but to be quite honest, i just dont know if Henderson is as good as we could have got.

Deym the Nets! I already felt that they are going to pick T-Will when they traded VC.

T-Will also hoped he'd be a Bobcat. *sigh* Oh well... I just hope Henderson can be the impact player that the Bobcats need.

My gosh folks, why throw crap on Henderson? Are you so stuck on college that you can't separate the player and look at what you got? Based on the way the draft went, Henderson was the best choice available. He was considered as high as 8th. Hansborough will be a decent reserve player, but Henderson has a good chance to be a starter. I'm pleased.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

You guys have a great pick in Henderson, you'll find out when the season starts. Don't be surprised if he finishes in the top 5 for ROY.

I don't mind the Henderson pick at all but how exactly is a graduate of the University of New Jersey Durham a member of a North Carolina team?

Charlotte is 80% UNC fans, 10% Wake fans, 5% Davidson fans, 4% other and 1% Duke fans. They just alienated their entire fanbase.

for those of you ripping the Hendo pick, who would you have rather selected? I don't see anyone picked after Hendo that would have been a better pick on paper. I think you guys are just Carolina fans and you wanted Hansbrough.

The only alternative players I could see fans bitching about would be Earl Clark, James Johnson, or Austin Daye. There's no way you can justify bringing in another PG after offering Felton the qualifying offer and having Augustin on the roster.

Are Clark, Johnson, and Daye better than Hendo? Obviously better? I don't think so. I'm fine with the pick considering Williams went off the board at 11.

Because those UNC fans really came in droves when we drafted those last two UNC players?

It aint school no more. Where you went doesn't matter. It's all about how you play - and Hendo can play.

College has nothing to do with the NBA. I just want the best players.

Welcome to Charlotte G!

This is one of my happiest days of being a Bobcats fan ever, finally some of the good color Blue (Duke) to go along with all of that God awful ugly Tar Heel Blue that was already associated with our team.

For those who are still putting bad mouth on G for the Hans altercation, that was over 2 years ago now and Psycho T forgave him so everyone should just let it go, I know it was wrong but let he who has not sinned at all cast the first stone!

Who give a **** about what college these guys played for? This was another botched draft by the Bobcats.

Nah, the chips just didn't fall our way. The Nets really dicked us. But of the players available, in my mind Henderson clearly was the best fit. And this is coming from a guy that currently attends Carolina.
