I am a Rocket fan and I was wondering what you guys would want for Okafor?

T-Mac, if he's healthy now

McGrady+Hayes or Landry for Bell+Okafor+Nazr

With a healthy Yao, you guys would have the best frontcourt in the NBA, a solid backup center, and another lockdown defender.

We would finally get a versatile scorer and a backup PF

Switch Cook with Landry or Hayes and we have a deal. But i don't know about Radman, I think we should keep him.

we wouldnt have a problem sending Landry back. I actually think that is a fair offer on both ends.

Doesn't a Landry to Charlotte trade have to be at least a year after he signed a Charlotte offer?

And why in the Hell does anyone want to trade for Tracy?

Ok, only if the Bobcats get Landry in the deal.

Yep. But there's still one thing.....

Felton/Augustin
TMac/Bell/Henderson
Wallace/Brown
Diaw/Landry/Howard
Diop/Ajinca

...Diop as our starting Center? and there's no backup at SF

I don't see a deal that's feasible for us.

BTW...the ESPN Trade Machine has been updated. Mek is no longer BYC!!!!

Yeah, Landry as the starting Center was my problem.

Not that its on topic here, but I think the Bobcats should go after Richard Hamilton. Rip really responded to Larry Brown. Something along the lines of Bell, Mohammed, random 1st round pick for Rip, something (someone) else should do it. Bobcats would be spending alot on Rip, but he would be a great fit here.

We would have to get T-Mac and Landry if we actually did a trade. I am not comfortable starting Diop at center, and I am definitely not seeing Ajinca getting alot of clock. The main goal is PLAYOFFS and it is going to be tough with Mek. Without Mek we are one injury away from definitely not making the PLAYOFFS. It will be a sad day if Ajinca is our starting Center!!

What exactly do any trades like this with Houston get us? What the hell would we do with the cap relief? The salary cap might drop to 50m next season and Lebron/Bosh/Wade aren't coming here unless we're the only one offering the max contracts (which we wouldn't be).

I think it would be so Bob can save money. We know he's tight pocketed with his money anyway and Higgins has stated that we won't be spending much money other than the MLE. Add in the fact that the team is for sale and nobody is touching Bob's #, he wants to shed as much salary as possible.

T-Mac has the highest contract in the league (I think). And that coming off the books will save a ton of money

Apart from that, we get a 25/5/5 guy who has something to prove.

Who knows, maybe he wants to stay here and we can sign him for 10M a year, then there will be enough left to sign a starting center like Haywood or Pryzibilla for the MLE, and we will still be under the cap.

2010:

Felton/Augustin
Mcgrady/Bell/Henderson
Wallace/Brown/ Veteran?
Diaw/Landry
Haywood/Diop/Ajnica
