Sean May update

Post#1 » by zoned unc » Fri Jul 10, 2009 5:31 am

I know he's not the most well liked guy right now, but i thought you guys might like to know that Sean is looking like he's finally back from injury, trimmed down and ready.

He's playing at the NCCU summer league with some current and former UNC, Duke, and State players.

I really think we should give him a 1 year deal to see if he can stay healthy before casting him aside as a bust.

NO.

I can see 2 highlights from him and I bet he died after the 2minutes on the court.

And he still looks fat.

He had his chance to step up and get in shape and failed. Let someone else pay the tab this time.

also in that same video we see may standing flat foot, not playing defense and getting burned baseline for a layup. so that means one of two things... either, his defense still sucks OR nobody plays real defense in this league and therefore not impressed with mays dunk. the turnaround fadeaway was nice though.

if he is still unsigned at the end of august, we should offer him a 2 year deal at the vet minimum. second year team option.

I second that Fats. You really cant go wrong with a 2 year min deal on him with a team option on the second.

As disappointing as May's been, he's still better than almost any other reserve 4 you're going to find in the minimum price range.

In the unlikely event he actually reports healthy and in shape, you've got a goof PF locked up for two years cheap. If not, you still have a fat body who can play mop up minutes in short spurts before he gets winded and you cut him loose for good at the end of the year.

Dmuto123-- I understand your logic, but the Charlotte fans are fed up with McMay and its time he frequents other VIP Showgirls Buffet lines elsewhere.. We should save that money..Some veteran will get cut loose and we can use it fill a hole later.
All I can Say to Sean is Thanks for 4 years of nothing!
What a waste at #13 with Danny Granger still on the draft board..
Bye
Fats please lock this topic down.. After 4 years enough is enough!!!

Nope. Watch it again carefully - he dribbled once more it is just that his body is between the ball and the camera covering it a bit.
