Question from a Jazz fan....

How high are Bobcat fans on Emeka Okafor? Would you say he's the "franchise" player and is untouchable; or for the right pieces, he could be traded?

Also which combination of players would you trade for Okafor, if at all?
(All were successful on trade checker)

Boozer for Okafor

Boozer/Brewer for Okafor/Bell

Boozer/Korver for Okafor/Bell

Boozer/Fesenko for Okafor/Bell

Thoughts............

I wouldn't trade EO50 for a one year rental of Boozer.

Boozer said on an interview in Chicago that he wants an extension. Period

I wouldn't trade for Boozer if he comes with a 15 million dollar a year contract over several years.

Wallace for Boozer. I don't want to give up Okafor for Boozer really.

Okafor is far from untouchable, but I think that trade gets us nowhere at the end of the day because we have a gapping hole at C.

Okafor is not a PF, a trade of he for boozer makes Diop a starter, which we would like to avoid.

Boozer for Diaw or Crash is more reasonable.....

I would need a reasonable extension to consider it though. I don't want a one year rental, and I don't want him if he is getting paid too much.

I love Diaw on this team, but he's the guy I would trade to get Boozer. No chance, I trade Gerald and then make Radman our new starter at SF

No deal. I don't want Radmonovich or Diop in the starting lineup. They are both bench players for life! Not to say that is a bad thing. I would trade places with them in a heartbeat!

So you guys are saying you would rather trade Wallace away then Okafor for Boozer? I would have to think the Jazz would jump all over the chance to bring Wallace to Utah for Boozer and possibly Miles. Not sure how the money would work out but if Boozer agrees to an extension and the Bobcats would do the deal...I would love for it to happen. Is there really a realistic chance the Bobcats would deal with the Jazz for Boozer?

Huge fan of Crash, Okafor, Bell, and Diaw. I would be very happy if we could find a deal that landed any of those guys here in Utah.

I would do a Diaw for Boozer ASAP if it came about, but that is wishful thinking!!

I would not at all be comfortable paying Boozer what he is expecting to be paid.

I don't think Boozer is going to get what "he thinks" he is worth anywhere.

I doubt there is anyway the Jazz trade for Crash. His contract is huge and tell me if I'm wrong but has 3 or 4 years left on it. The Jazz don't want to pay the luxury tax for multiple years.

crash has a very fair contract imo. dude is worth every penny he gets paid.
