Opening home game vs NY is pretty cool. Looks good from my first glance...no jumpers classic BS this year.

Looking more in depth, this schedule looks really favorable to the Cats. Longest road trip is 4 games, but they are not killer...MIL, LAC, UTA, MEM and also DEN, PHO, GS, SAC. Plus, one 6 game home stand.

I wonder how the PA announcer will introduce him, and of course, how the fans will "welcome" him back.

there is a 6 game road trip there at the end of january. our first game is boston but they are on a back to back so hopefully we can catch them tired after cleveland, though it is only the second game lol. we usually play them tough anyway

Whoa look what Chris Sheridan said about you guys,
Also getting the Rockets treatment (no nationally televised games, unless you include NBA TV) are a few teams you probably wouldn't want to watch anyway: New Jersey, Sacramento, Milwaukee and Charlotte.

Can't argue with that.

it would be neat to have a national TV game against the Lakers or Celtics as we always play them well/beat them

I mean we are better than some teams that do get National TV Games. The Knicks for example get nationally televised games soley based off the fact that they are New York. Thunder even have one game on ESPN.

The only National T.V. game I remember the Bobcats having was three years ago vs. Orlando on TNT. Sean May went off in that game, and we won!

ya we have no nationally recognizable players in a small market city. tnts worst nightmare lol. pff if this were France we'd have 30 tv games

Oh, I forgot that one! No, that was two seasons ago.

I actually enjoyed that, though!
At least we can say the NBA tried to build up the Okafor vs. Howard matchup. Both of them where at home, too.

If Chandler can hold his own for us, I can see us getting 40 wins vs 42 losses. Just not sure if that would be enough to get into the Playoffs, but it would be very close.

we have 4 games on NBATV which is more than we've ever had, so i consider it a step in the right direction at least.

This schedule is MUCH better in terms of being friendly for a late season playoff push. Given this, and reasonable health from Chandler and Bell the playoffs are a realistic possiblity.
