OT: I need insight/info on Primoz

Post#1 » by The76thDegree » Tue Aug 4, 2009 6:10 pm

Hey guys

Theres a rumor of the sixers getting Primoz and since you guys have had the longest look at him I was wondering if you had any insight on him. Any info on strengths, weaknesses, degree of sexiness..etc would be greatly appreciated.

Also it would be nice if those of you with the "he sucks because I hate him" insights would refrain from posting.

Many thanks

He's a hardcore gangsta. You guys street cred just leaped off of the charts and started busting off shots.

He's a finesse bigman that was pretty awful next to Okafor. Slow guy that's a pretty good shooter.

edit: oh, he missed tons of games and was disabled with "exhaustion", so his final bit of season here wasn't his best showing. He wasn't so bad as an expansion team option though.

Very good outside shooter to near the 3 line.

His (lack of) defense will have you throwing things.

He doesn't leave the ground when he "jumps".

Soft touch on his J though.

we called him pillow cause thats how soft he was defensively.

but he was solid that first year, then he fell apart. decent mid range game. decent in pick and pop.

He would be a source of utter joy for you in Philly (go and ask Raps' fans. that was his golden age). He is white chocolate wannabe, he learned english in Indiana which (according to Nesterović) is not the best place to do so. He has mid range game, can spread the defense a bit, he is a 7footer and that'sabout it. He plays as hard as his nickname Pillow suggests. He is a gangsta and could occasionally get into a brawl with opposite team mascot (thrashtalk is almost a sure thing every night). You know man.

I always used to joke that he had the game of a 6 foot, stereotypical European guard... with a foot long neck that made him a 7 footer.

Has a resemblance to Rasho Nesterovic... Huge wingspan... Great shooting skills... Poor defender.

LOL at the resemblance to Rasho. They only have the nationality in common.
