I'm in. Jax would provide much needed scoring. Turiaf would add toughness, rebounding and shot blocking.

Then I would be in for Iverson, Marbury, Tinsley, Dalembert and as a mascot gangsta Brezec. Because we obviously wouldn't care about chamistry. (Artest too but he is not available)

I like the two trades on slightly different levels. Diaw for Jack works straight up. However, with their contracts being close, I would prefer to add Ajinca and BWright into the trade.

This certainly opens up some room to package Felts, DJ, or Raja with Radman and one of our C's for a high caliber SG or PG. So it looks nice.

The idea the article suggested would be awesome if we somehow got them to agree. Radman and Nazr for Jack, Devean George, and Acie Law. It does unbalance our lineup though so another trade would have to be in the works.

If this team's sole objective is playoffs or bust this year than this type of trade would do the trick.

Jackson is definitely a go-to scorer. However, it's important to remember that Jackson is turning 32 this season and will be under contract for several more years at astronomical number's until he's 35.

Personally, I would pass and opt to rebuild the right way. Yes, it will take a couple years but teams that try to take shortcuts in rebuilding can never hope to be good - only less mediocre. Just ask the Isiah Thomas run Knicks.

If Charlotte decides to throw caution to the wind with regard to their future and go for broke in their playoff quest, Jackson/Turiaf/Law for Radman/Diaw works salary wise. It'd be even nicer if we could get them to take Diop instead of Vlad but with his contract, that would likely be a deal breaker.

OK, if you're going to have a go at a radical remix, and righting some wrongs while doing it, and knowing you'll have to surrender some quality, try this:

Wallace and Diop for Jackson, Turiaf and Azubuike

VERY HARD to give up Wallace, but look at the overall result. Jackson plays his best position (SF) and provides primary scoring (like Crash) but with slightly better outside shooting (but not as good on the boards). Azubuike becomes our starting SG, providing more scoring, better shooting, is young and could be our long term answer at the 2. Turiaf gives us a PF off the bench and a deep reserve at the 5. If Diaw is slacking we've got someone who's willing to hit the boards and work hard.

We get rid of our greatest contract albatross (DIOP) which is a big boat anchor drag on future movement. Diop looks like he'll never contribute anything, even after he got into "better" shape this offseason. While we give up our best player we add two impact players and get an important reserve at a need position. We still have Diaw and Bell who could factor into other trades later to obtain a significant starting PF.

Just some thoughts, it's an idea that I've expressed support for (getting Jackson), but I'm probably more inclined to deal DIaw thank Crash.

Make the trade. I prefer to deal Diaw because I think Crash and Jackson on the court together with DJ could make things interesting. Now we just need a good PF/C to magically fall out of the sky.

GSW does not want to trade Azubuike or Turiaf and does not want Diop at all. I like Crash, but he seems to have injury issues along with a lot of contract, so the Jack-Crash part is not worth taking a shaft on the other half of the deal. Jackson can be had cheap but there's players GSW does not want to trade. There's also players they don't want to get.

I dont get it - now Nazr is our backuop center and we want to trade him. It seems to be one of that kind of rumours that wanted us to trade Crash to New York for Curry etc.

Interesting that Don Nelson started Stephen Jackson at PF the other day and will again tonight. If we trade Diaw, we will need someone to play PF until we can find a real one. Turiaf has a bad knee so I don't think he would be a part of the trade even though we could use him if/when he gets healthy. But SJ playing PF makes me think there is something to the rumors of Jax coming here.

Well, without Turiaf I cannot do this. Can't see Jackson playing the 4 on this team. What's the point of giving up Diaw for Jackson without getting back a significant additional player? I'd rather trade Bell and fodder for Jax in that case. Go with Chandler, Diaw, Wallace, Jax and Felts/DJ.

I appreciate the input from our friend on the left coast who is close to the Warriors. If they want Diaw, it's gotta include a PF with Jax. Unfortunately Wright is out but who knows if we could have gotten him anyway.

I would rather welcome the Grim Reaper to my team instead of Stephen Jackson. His mood swings and me first attitude will destroy any young team and it has. Just ask the GSWs. THe playoff success several years ago has worn off and now he is showing his true colors. Hopefully it is a three team trade with Jackass going somehwere else.

I agree but it doesn't look like Turiaf is healthy. Now if he isn't hurt too bad, then I would take a chance on him because we could definitely use a player like that. But we can't just trade for a stiff at PF because then whats the point? And obviously you want to trade Bell and junk for Jackson but that might not get it done.

Also I think Diaw's days are numbered here because of the way he reported to camp so out of shape. He might not go in a Jax trade, but he will be gone if a good deal comes along.

And we should start DJ and stick Felton on the bench. Force his hand so when December 15th comes around, he wants out.

DJ, Crash, Jackson, Chandler and then we would need a PF. Might have to wait until Dec 15th.

Turiaf has been injured this year. Last year he was tied for 5th in the league in blocked shots per game. He trailed only Dwight Howard and Chris Anderson in total blocks for the season. His avg and totals were higher than such players as Ming, Okafor, and Brook Lopez. He did this while playing 21.5 mpg. Not too shabby.

I would trade anyone on this team for someone that can score. Can Jax score without taking 300 shots per game? If so, then do it.

Certainly true, but he's injured for one, he's under preforming for 2, and they have other players behind that can easily replace him for three, those things reduce his value. As for Jack, anytime a guy asks for a trade, his value drops because his team is looking to move him as opposed to teams making offers trying to pull him away.

Diaw has a lot of value for us because he's our best and only real PF so it should take more to get him from us. I would cream my pants if we got Randolph from them, but I'd be happy with BWright too as he's shown he can produce when given the time. Especially on a smaller contract than Turiaf.

Jack and Wright for Diaw and Lexy works, and we'd get the better starter and the better backup, so we'd definitely win there.

I'd even throw in whatever second rounder we have this year to sweeten the pot or would take Wright instead of sending the pick. They get rid of a malcontent and his longer contract and get someone (Diaw) who fits in very nicely in their offense, and Lexy is their new huge upside kid. We add Jack's contract, but it won't bother much as we'll have tons of expirings to deal in the later part of his contract.

Let Randolph start and bring Turiaf off the bench and plug Jack in at the 2 to replace Raja.

You guys make me sick. Trading Ajinça? His value is low,right now I'm not saying it is a sure thing it will rise but it can't drop much really.

Can we give Ajinca to Minnesota for our pick back? They'd just waste it anyway.

Bassman-- I'm with you although we don't need another Sean May in Ronnie Turiaf, but if the knee is sound we could rest him now or scope it for later in the season. Wallace/Diop for Jackson /Turiaf allows us to replace crash with a outside shooter/rim rattler who is going to protect his body rather than crash and burn somenight . Diops Salary is Dumped for the upward potential on Turiaf as a proven pure 4 later in the year to pair with Chandler in the paint and we still have Diaw starting untill then...
