3- Diaw
2- Chandler
1- Radmanovic
I know Radman doesn't get a lot of love and he can be annoying but he did exactly what he was supposed to dropping those 3s in the second!

3-Boris
2-Wallace
1-Felton
Felts would be higher if he didn't shoot us out. No way does TC get a hammer from me when Noah, who some of you think is a joke player, goes 10-12 for 21 points, 16 boards, 4 blocks and 3 dimes with only 2 fouls and 1 TO.

Re: hammers: bobcats vs bulls
We lost this game due to offensive rebounding. Nobody boxed out, like ever. Our guards seem like they're better rebounders than our bigs.
dunno if I'm too late or not:
3 - Diaw
2 - Wallace
3 - Ray
Felton didn't shoot well at all, and he was trying way too hard to make something happen at the end. But what I don't get is why does this turn into everyone stand around while Felton tries to score on a tripple team? Like why not run plays, cuts to the basket, screens, etc? Why why why?!?!

It's like Felton is a spoiler. I never thought I would see the day where I cheer for him to win gameballs. Thanks, Tyson.

Don't you just want to see the team win? I've been on Diaw's case since he showed up to camp out of shape, yet I would gladly give him the top spot if he deserves it.
And you have this irrational hatred of Tyson Chandler. Can we at least give him a month before you cast him overboard? We are getting better as a TEAM. Once DJ comes out of his hiding spot on road games, we will be even better.
New Orleans Hornets with super stud Emeka Okafor are now 2-5. (should be 1-6) After they get beat down by the Clippers tonight, they will be 2-6. (should be 1-7) Did you see superstar DJ Mbenga take Okafor to school last night? No Gasol and Bynum and the Hornets still can't beat the Lakers! What a mess! Oka-crap should have had 30 points last night. That is whats called doing what it takes to win on a nightly basis. Thank God good riddance keep those useless stats during blowout losses in New Orleans.

The Hornets are +10.2 per 100 possessions when Okafor is on the court. Meanwhile, the Bobcats are -6.1 per 100 possessions with Tyson Chandler on the court.
Thanks, Tyson.

New Orleans is 2-5. (should be 1-6) After tonight they will be 2-6. (should be 1-7) Okafor was some help last night against the formidable DJ Mbenga.

Hornets have beaten the Clippers nine straight. Lets see if Okafor can make it ten!

And your possession stat is BOGUS. Only thing that matters is that one game and whether you won or lost. Nobody gives two sh*ts how many points you score when the game has already been decided.

?????
But they DID win when Mek was on the court....By 10.2 points per 100 possesions.....It's not Mek's fault what Hilton Armstrong does when he is sitting on the bench.
BTW, this may seem strange to you but there are some very good players on bad teams. All the arguments you are using right now against Mek could be used equally against Chris Paul. Would you take HIM on this team?

They didn't win sh*t. NBA games are 4 quarters, outscoring your opponent in the first quarter and then when your trailing by 25 heading in the 4th you outscore them there too, but lose by 15, means BOGUS stat. Also, once the game starts there are many different situations that occur where you can end up on the floor against the other teams second unit. There is also the racking up of extensive garbage time stats. This happens when you're getting your doors blown off and the other team doesn't care anymore. Seems like this is a nightly occurrence with New Orleans!
Okafor had 14 meaningless rebounds last night. Guy started bopping all over the place when the Hornets were trailing by 25. Think he scooped up about 10 rebounds while they trailed by 20 plus points. The Lakers were launching all sorts of crazy shots because the game was practically over 2 minutes into the second quarter. DJ Mbenga made Okafor look silly. Hornets have no chemistry, they look the Bobcats when Okafor played here.

Re: hammers: bobcats vs bulls
To add to what e4 said, points per 100 possessions is used to show how a team plays when a certain player is on the floor as opposed to when he's off of it. Right now, for whatever reason, we're playing significantly worse when Tyson Chandler is on the court. The Hornets are playing significantly better when Okafor is on the court.
Battery, I heard you the first time, so I see no reason why you're repeating the same crap again, but for one last time, while your "Okafor only racks up stats in garbage time" stance has never held any water, it definitely doesn't hold any for last night considering Mek didn't play a single second in the fourth quarter. Guess who did, though? Mbenga.

Like I said, Okafor didn't play in the fourth. That kind of wrecks your argument, but I'll go ahead and ask, do you have anything to back this up with?

I wasn't referring to last night's game. I was just talking about the possession stat and how it can be deceiving when you're talking about per 100 possessions.
I watched almost all of last nights Hornets-Lakers game so I know Okafor didn't play in the 4th. He played no defense for the first 3 quarters and occasionally threw up some UFO's on offense. And Mbenga played a lot because Bynum and Gasol did not play! Mighty Okafor should have helped CP3 and dominated this game. Nope. Okafor couldn't take advantage of his matchup and that is one of the reasons why they lost.

So....The stat can be misleading generally, but not in this case? So what was your point again?
The Hornets have been beaten soundly a few times this year, but all the damage that has been done by the other teams was done when Mek was not on the court.
I'll ask you again....
Your "Losing teams contain losing players" philosophy also would seem to doom Chris Paul. Do you consider Chris Paul to be a good player? Why does he get a pass and not Mek? What about Tim Duncan or Deron Williams? They are also currently on "losing" teams.

Gameball votes have no effect on the team winning or losing.
And you have this irrational hatred of Tyson Chandler.
I don't hate him, and if I do, it certainly isn't "irrational." It's because people like you have double standards, trashing someone like Okafor while praising someone like Chandler for clearly inferior play. And that's why I said what I did about the gameballs; if Okafor was in Chandler's place the last two games, he might be 5th in gameballs. Chandler gets gameballs for performances that would get Okafor maybe two bronze votes and a lot of criticism.
