Gold: Crash. He worked his nuts off for all 4 qtrs, pounded the boards and did all the little things he does so well.

Silver: Boris. Massive offensive night.

Bronze: Nazzy. Played very well in the limited mins he played. 9pts and 6 boards in only 11mins!

HM: Felts - for the game winner, but dude, you let Willy Green torch you for 15 in the 3rd while most of the damage you did happened over a 2 min span in the 3rd. The game winner was cherry though.

Gold: Felton for scoring in the clutch and securing the win.
Silver: Wallace for being himself
Bronze: Diaw for shooting the lights out.
Really those 3 guys deserve gold medals.

Actually it was 11...and Felton countered with 9 of his own. While Flip was in against him in the 3rd Green scored 9 points while our backup PG countered with 0.

Green was in a zone tonight. He made some sick shots.

Gold: Diaw - great game, near perfect from the floor, huge buckets towards the end

Silver: Felton - went off in the second half, came up with the game winning shot

Bronze: Wallace - also had a great game. Someone who put up 24 pts, 14 rebs, 4 assts, 3 stls, 50 FG% truly doesn't deserve the bronze but Felton's play down the stretch edged him out.

3 - wallace - im not sure how much of it showed on tv, but wallace was a monster. he played his heart out and spent the last chunk of minutes guarding the paint matched up on brand. wallace was playing both ends like it was a playoff game. dude is amazing.
2 - felton
1 - diaw - loved the shooting. loved the clutch basket. gotta do more than make jumpers to beat out crash, imo.

If that is the case then why don't we trade for Jose? So long as our PG is scoring then it doesn't matter how many points or what damage the opposing player is doing?

Or maybe we should have been giving DJ a pass for his suspect defense last season when he was lighting it up?

I think DJ did get a pass.

Felton had bruised ribs from the previous game and was almost a scratch vs. the Sixers. Add to that Green was really lighting it up...and against everyone. My point was that 1) you inflated the damage Green caused vs. Felton and 2) Green hitting all those sick shots was only a net -2 when he was matched up vs. Felton.

I didn't even point out that your "2 min span in the 3rd" comment was in error as well as he scored 9 in the 3rd and 9 more in the 4th.

Besides...Green made most of those shots with Felton right on him. Caleron nor DJ would have been able to even stay with him. World of difference.

Did you leave the "d" out in Calderon on purpose?

Yeah! :)

If DJ doesn't start hitting some shots I guess I'll have to start calling him "__".

Kidding! Unlike a lot of others I'm still not advocating moving/benching DJ (McInnis nightmares). Also unlike a lot of others however I still don't see him as the 2nd coming of Nash but a very capable backup PG. I am concerned that we'll end up trading him for a backup 4.
