Wallace calling out Chandler and Diaw?

"You look between our 4-man and our 5-man, we got eight rebounds," Wallace said. "I don't think we're taking pride in our defensive assignments, personally. We're not coming out and taking pride in helping our teammates."

Chandler didn't have a field goal and finished with two points and five rebounds. Diaw shot 3-for-8 and had four turnovers.

Wallace, who has 16 double-doubles, was asked how to fix Charlotte's problems.

"You tell me. Can you fix somebody's heart? Can you fix somebody's effort?" Wallace said. "That's a personal thing. That's something that person has to deal with mentally: Whether he wants it or not, or whether he's up to the task to come out and competing with us every night."

So much for Tyson bringing the passion. Way to go, Toodlez.
Humble yourself.

Wallace is our best player, and he finally is stepping up and being our leader. Time to call out the frenchman for being a drag ass this season. Time to call Chandler out for not getting after it even though his ailments are probably as healed as they can be. The issue with Diaw exacerbates the Chandler problem. TC needs a big, strong PF down low so he can operate like the high-post 5 he is. He still won't be real good but he'd be better with that element. Diaw is just lost now, and needs to go.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I personally am not sure how to tell the difference between a leader "stepping up" to call out his teammates and a locker room in turmoil. Is this supposed to be indicative of good chemistry, or bad? This is also why I don't like speculating on how the insides of locker rooms work at any given time, we don't know if this will be received as "oh man, gotta step it up for Gerald, look how he kills himself out there every night" or "man f*** gerald."

He's obviously talking about Diaw because Boozer was taking him to school and also he didn't step up and challenge Deron or Miles from getting to the hoop after they blew by Ray and Crash, who I thought had a poor defensive game. Diaw's problem is that he's too worried about his own man which leaves TC as the only one to challenge at the basket.

We really need a tough 6-10 PF who can step up and challenge players coming into the lane, score a bit in the post and backup Diaw and also play a bit of center. Rasheed Wallace of a couple years back would be ideal. LB loves to mix and match depending on matchups and our lack of a legitimate PF is killing us.

I am glad someone on the Bobcats is doing this. Brown is busy being dazzled by "how much Diaw sees on the court." The reason he can see so much is because he is standing around watching. I am almost at the point where I am ready to say I miss Sean May. That's when you know its getting bad.
