Hammers: Bobcats Vs Heat

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Sat Jan 2, 2010 11:02 pm

Image: Jax. THAT'S the Jax we need. Just kept it simple, didn't try to do too much, did what he knew he could do and played within himself.

Image: Boris. Got everyone involved, played with aggression on the offensive end in the 2nd half and helped us to pull away.

Image: DJ. Hit massive shots when we needed them, made good decisions with the ball and defended well (again)

3: Jackson - huge game and was also rather efficient (hit over half of his field goals, over half of his threes, all of his free-throws, AND HAD ONLY ONE TURNOVER!!!) love seeing that.

2: Augustin - was excellent in the fourth quarter... really liked what I saw from him today.

1: Brown - came in late in the first and really turned things around for the team. Definitely showed that he needs to log more minutes.

HM: Diaw, Felton, Murray, etc.. everyone really played a good game today.

3: Jackson (when he's on, we are a tough tough team to beat)
2: DJ (hit the big shots when we needed them most)
1: Felton (don't discount the last few possessions, that helped prevent any chance of a come back, plus I wanna get SLAM fired up)

I couldn't give Diaw a hammer. Maybe he did deserve one this game, but I'm so sick of his turnovers, crap rebounding, and inability to defend one on one. He did play a good second half but I can't do it.

Wallace had some big plays but he needs to find a way to knock down jump shots. If he can hit FT's at a high rate, I don't know why he can't hit the jumpers.

Brown probably deserved one, not sure why the hell Graham was in there to end the 2nd after Brown did so well in his few mins.

Flip had a nice game, but he had to come out when Wade began posting him up. I thought Nazr played a very good game but also had limited mins for some reason.

3- Jackson had a perfect game
2- DJ has made a lot of progress
1- Felton didn't hardly do anything and came in to seal us the game AND defend Dwayne Wade.

Everyone looked focused and determined to win the game great job.

Jackson
Augustin
Felton

Diaw played decently overall, but got worked by Beasley during the first half, and that dunk on him was just nasty. I see why he focuses on boxing out now. Nice finish, but I'd give Brown and Mohammed hammers before him.
Humble yourself.

I wouldn't really consider that getting dunked on. It's not like they manned up and it was one on one. He had no idea he was coming and it wasn't contested. And God he's one weird looking dude, and that afro doesn't help

Haha, I'll second that. I was watching the game with my wife and I happened to point out how weird looking Beasley is with that dumb fro. And doesn't it always look like he just woke up or something? Can he not fully open up his eyes?
