Why doesn't Henderson get any minutes?

He's talented, but I've missed any Bobcat game so far this year: after Bell was traded I thought Henderson could get soem minutes.

What's the roadblock?

he is just not very productive right now......i does not help that there are better players in front of him

better players? I'll take Henderson over Graham and Murray, any day of the week.

Patience---Henderson will get minutes later in season--especially if we make some trades or have injuries or veterans like Diaw faulter.
Flip and Stevie are NBA veterans and thats why LB gives them minutes along with them not making mistakes. He is starting to give the "rookies" more minutes. Look at Derrick Brown. LB put him in the other night and he scored 7 points 2 boards in 2-3 minutes. He will do the same with Henderson, if Stevie or Flip hit slumps or if GW or Jax go down. Hendo is paying his "Pine Time". His day is coming!

I think it has more to do with the fact that he played for this guy....

He choked in the NCAA Tournament, and LB doesn't like chokers.

Should have taken Ty Lawson.

I wasn't crazy about the pick, but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that he's a rookie and we've got a very sold guard rotation now. We need a damn PF.

I don't really see why our guard rotation is "very solid." Flip and Stephen Graham have been ABYSMAL, and Henderson has looked halfway compentent, so I honestly don't know why he doesn't play 20mpg. It's not because of LB, it's a myth that he doesn't play rookies. I can't help but think the team would play better if Brown and Hendo took the minutes of Graham and Flip.

I'd rather see him get some burn in the D than continue to rack up the DNP-CD in the big show.

Get him down there playing with Lexy and see what they can do together.

I know Flip has sucked early on, but he's one of the major reasons we've won the last 2 or 3 games. I wouldn't replace Flip in the lineup right now, he might be our best guy off the bench.

Graham I can't explain unless it's for defense/rebounding.

That's a 4 guard rotation. I'm fine with that. Brown gets burn because he's the only thing close to a backup PF we have. I would certainly try Hendo out instead of Graham sometimes, but who knows.

I really dont get what the thinking was this summer. Maybe its cause they came at a cheaper price but last year we needed a backup SG so we draft Hendo in the lottery. Then we sign two more wing players to further fill that spot. We also need a backup 4 so we draft a 3/4 hybrid in the 2nd and dont bring in another 4. Just doesnt make sense to me.

Oh yeah who knew COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON was so good ... :rofl:
