Flip should be on block

Didn't see trade thread so if there is one, my bad slam.
Flip has much value imo and he is expiring and he won't resign imo and on top of that we have a guard glut and if you take him off the team D.J. gets more pt and maybe even Hendo.
Now the Bobcats can take him and Law or (I like Law) him for a pf like Powell or trade the trade exceptions for a 4 man.
I think if they wanna keep the exceptions they could do Law and Flip for Bass. They would be alot better if they had Bass.
How good would be (for a quarter or 2)
Diaw-Bass-Gerald-Jack-Felts
Wow.

I totally get what you are saying Dex, but I don't think that Hendo is ready to play meaningful mins at all, and without Flip on the roster there is no real back up SG on the roster.
While I agree that there is a good chance Flip wont be here next season, I think losing him this season would have a greater negative effect on our playoff chances than bringing in someone like Bass would have a positive effect.
Know what I mean?

Flip is so inconsistent even though he can be a threat when he gets hot. Which is too rare to keep him around. He's shooting 37% which isn't good enough considering his experience. As good as Graham shoots I don't know why he doesn't get more time.

I seen a trade on a chat on hoopsworld that had us sending Dj to the Lakers for Farmar and Powell. Thoughts

I would rather have DJ that Farmar. If for nothing else, he already knew the system and there is no certainity Farmar would be able to learn it. Powell is just throw-in to me, i don't really know him, but I doubt he would help us at PF more than someone like UPS already can.

Why not Henderson? Between DJ and him I think we have less of a need for the 3rd SG.
I know he's still shiny and new, but that could play in our favor.
Agreed that it won't be Flip.

I agree. I would move Hendo before DJ not only because of the positional needs, but because I think that DJ has a lot more potential than Hendo.
I would also move Hendo wayyyyyy before I would move Flip at this stage. If we poop the bed over the next two month and kill our playoff hopes, then I would look to move Flip and play Hendo a LOT more.

I think we should trade Hendo and Law to the Nets for T.Will and Boone.
They get a back up PG to Harris and SG with upside who doesn't Tweet things like "I wonder if things would be different if I was drafted by the Bobcats or the Raptors" and we get a SG to learn under Jax and a big body for the 4 spot.
(Yes, I still dig T.Will and wish like hell we had the chance to draft him!)

im cool with trading hendo over dj. im not that impressed with hendo anyway. he'll be ok in a few years, but i dont ever see him making any huge strides in his offensive game. plus with ray's looming FA dj should be kept as insurance.
