Dear Emeka Okafor

Hi, my name is fatlever. You may not know me, but I am the moderator for the Charlotte Bobcats boards on realgm.com. I haven’t always said nice things about you in the past.

I started calling you “Toodles” a few years ago after you signed off from an interview using that word. I used the the nickname “Toodles” every time you missed a layup or a dunk or basically any time you did anything stupid. I even pronounced “toodles” using an inflammatory high pitched voice” In July of 2007 I drove by your condo and threw a dozen eggs at your window. In October of 2008 I hired a stripper to go up to you at a bar, throw a drink in your face and scream “NO I WILL NOT LET YOU WEAR MY THONG”. In January of 2009 I hired a private detective to follow you into public bathrooms and video tape you leaving without washing your hands. I later posted that video to youtube citing you as the source of the swine flu. In May of 2009 I hired a 7 year old girl to pose as a terminally ill patient whose make-a-wish request was to see you get traded in the summer. As you can see, I have been very very bad.

This summer I was ecstatic to learn you had been traded to the New Orleans Hornets. Finally my wish came true. I thought Tyson Chandler would make everyone forget about you, including me.

Now, I just want to finally be a man and admit, I WAS WRONG. I am sorry for all the mean things I said about you. You are 1000 times the player that Chandler is. I hope you can find it in your big heart to forgive me. I will be there tomorrow night, giving you a standing ovation when your name is announced.

LOL, you really went to town Fats. Ya know, I might've mentioned this before but a few years ago I was at a Sixers game when they were playing the Bobcats. Okafor comes out onto the court and the dude a few rows in front yelled "Toodles!". Have you somehow managed to spread this across the country? LOL

Yep, this one was old and I haven't used it for a while on other forums, so decided to change.

NO is coming off a hard home loss and we are well rested. They have no CP3 and we are at home. This should be a Cats win!

okafor should be well rested. he only played 20 some mins after giving up 16 boards to dalembert.

I'm SO frigging worried about this game. Can't even tell you how much.

We are coming back from a week and a half of being in another time zone - which takes it's toll and can take some readjustment. Guys are back in their own beds with their own families and their own environments after being out of town which can lead to complacency. Crash might have a little rust to blow off and still might not be 100%. They are missing CP3 which might give us a false sense of security and EO50 might take some angry pills before the game and play like he has something to prove.

Tie all that in with the fact we really need to win this game to get back to our winning ways and I'm not going to lie, I'm crapping bricks about this one.

hopefully okafor doesnt read my GT before the game. if he does he might go off for 30 and 20.

Dont fret too much. The Charlotte "Big Slam" will hammer the Hornets tonight. Nazr will match Okafor and we will be talking about how he is the better Center for the money.

fatlever, did you always hate Okafor? Surely you at least liked him during his rookie season, right? How about in '06-07? I thought he was All-Star worthy in '06-07, and expected him to get at least a little better after that, but he's actually regressed since then. Not a lot, but you still don't expect a third-year player to go backwards in the subsequent years. That's probably my biggest frustration with Okafor. I blame Sam Vincent.

I was saying to Fats this week that I didn't think there was a chance in hell TC would come back against his old team - even if he was good to go. Thought there would be wayyyyyyyyy too much egg on face at risk.

I don't expect him to see the court much.

I have the NO broadcast. The open up with the obvious EO50 Vs Chandler comparison and state that although the numbers are very similar, the impact that EO50 has had in NO has been MUCH greater than that of TC with us.

Not sure I'm going to enjoy an entire night of these sorts of observations.
