if so, Larry will probably trade it for a shotblocking veteran.

I don't think we blow. I also don't think our 12 win 4 loss Jan truly represents where we are either.

Fact is Jax stunk it up last night. It was the worst game he has ever played for us. It happens. If Jax had a half was decent game last night, if Nazzy and TC were healthy - we probably pull that one out.

I'm just so damn frustrated seeing this opportunity slip. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise to light a fire under this teams ass. If we had a half-way respectable road record we're competing for home court advantage right now.

Our big man situation is really hurting us. Even at 100% health, can we hold up? If we had a healthy non-puss tyson chandler at C it's a different ball-game. Hell, if we NEVER traded Okafor I guarantee you we're fine up front.

I think Larry needs to find a better rotation too. DJ is not getting it done. He hit that nice 3pter at a critical time last night but I think that was his only positive the entire night. If we're suffering defensively, I have no problem playing Graham more mins.

Felton also needs to step it up make the high % shots and guys need to hit the open shot when he finds them (such as the kick-outs to the 3pt line).

I'm happy Wallace finally woke up again, if he and Jax can put it together in Utah at the same time then we'll have a chance. If one of those two guys don't play well then we pretty much can't win against most teams.

JAX may have had the worst game I've ever seen any NBA player have. That combined with DJ having a garden variety off night = a loss. The rest of the team shot 59%! If LB had the balls to sit JAX we would have won by 15.

^ After averaging 24 ppg since January and over 32 during the past few he was due for a stinker eventually.

But 1/16 is monumentally bad. Shooting through a slump is one thing but by late third quarter it was evident that he'd completely lost his cool. And at that point, he probably should have been pulled.

I don't think this team "blows" at all. Stephen Jackson had a awful shooting night and you got no real point production from the two point guards yet the team loses by 4 in L.A. The Clips are very similar to the Bucks, good big man who can score, great point guard, and good perimeter shooters. A few things that stick out to me was the turnovers were too high, rebounding was bad, and the Bobcats don't have much depth on the bench. Again, down the strecth, I was very surprised Larry Brown kept letting the ball go into Jackson so much. That absolutley hurt this team and is what I think lost the game. Also Tyrus has to do a better job of dealing with the bangers in the paint, I didn't like the 4 rebounds, other than that he had a nice game. I think Larry Brown may need to change the lineups and put Tyrus in with the first group, at least for teams that don't have great size up front. The team has talent and potential, and again as bad as Jacksons night was the game was there for the Bobcats to take. Felton and DJ need to step up, Henderson should probably get some run instead of running Jackson so much too. Is he in the doghouse or something. Ratliff gave good minutes IMO also. Tough couple of games coming up, the guys need to get it together quick!

We really have to find a way to stop guys like Rasual Butler, John Salmons, Cortney Lee, Nicolas Batum, Aaron Afflalo, Wilson Chandler etc light us up.

Remember when we were a good defensive team?

i agree that was the worst game i think i've ever seen an nba player play. 95% of the time a player playing that bad would not have seen the floor long enough to do that much damage. it was obviously from the tip off that jax was not right. he was fumbling passes, forcing bad shots, making dumb player from the first second he stepped on the court. it really truly looked like he was drunk.

what i dont understand is why LB refuses to sit a player when they are having that kind of night. we've seen diaw play 30+ mins on nights where he was a complete liability. we've seen wallace play 40+ mins on nights where he was sleepwalking and obviously hurt. and last night jax plays 40 mins will having the worst game of his life. we've seen the 4th quarter small ball lineup get destroyed twice in sacramento in the 4th quarter, yet no changes are ever made during the game. what would one of those core players have to do in order to be benched? its one thing to show loyalty to your core players, to show confidence in them, but its another thing to let it go that far, to the point of costing the team victories.

i am getting sick of seeing LB not react to such things.

:o

I've worked it out!!

Larry wants MJ to buy the Bobcats, he says so any time he gets a chance, so he's running the team into the ground so that George PoopyDoopy looses interet in wanting to purchase the team and MJ can buy it on the cheap without competition.

It's an inside job I tells ya!

We know they aren't tanking for draft picks, because all we do with draft picks is screw them up or trade them away!!

As bad as Jax was, you can't really blame him because he's been trying to put the team on his back the last couple of weeks, because Wallace has played like a steaming pile of garbage.

Gerald finally bounces back, and then Jax goes under.

Our March is considerably easier, we could have another 10+ win month. Toronto's gets harder from here on out, so there is still a chance we can catch them.

Larry, how far do you think the Bobcats can go in the playoffs this year?

Ya know, looking at the teams competing for the 6-8 seeds we do seem to have the best one from this point on. Eventhough we may end up losing 7 in a row by the time we play GS.

The problem with this team is we don't beat the teams we're supposed to beat. You can't lose games to NJ, LA Clippers, Bucks, and then expect to make the playoffs. If we can off-set those games with wins Vs Dallas, LA, and Memphis for example then I like our chances the rest of the way. I swear though, if it comes down to us having to beat Chicago the last game of the season because we lose to NJ the 2nd to last I'm gonna commit a crime.

[Somewhere in the future on April 15th]
:reporter:: Tragic news today, as Bobcats forum poster Rich4114 has been banned from the Canadian basketball website RealGM. Mr. 4114 is the main suspect in last night's murder against useless center Tyson Chandler following the Bobcats loss to the Chicago Bulls--a lost that cost them their first playoff birth in team history. Close personal friend Raymond Felton could not be reached for comment.
