I'm not for giving Augustin a nickname, though. He's in a sophomore slump, not on a level with Burleson, Ammo, and Diop.

Well, we've all seen what happens when Fats throws his full support behind players (Ammo, Fabio, Twiggy etc). They end up out of the NBA - or at least close to it.

Hopefully him bashing players like this will have the opposite effect.

How about "The Elf"? Between his size and the way he seems to stagger when he's getting eaten alive from someone setting a pick, he reminds me of those little guys from various movies.

It's really a term of endearment, not meant to be cruel. I think the kid may still turn into a decent back-up, but he'll always struggle as a defender.

I thought he looks more like Gollum than an elf.

all kidding aside though, TT fits you guys well with his hustle & athleticism. He's the perfect blend with Wallace & Jax while being the perfect compliment to Diaw

You guys shouldn't be so hard on DJ...his shot will come back. Even when it hasn't been falling he's putting 100% effort out there. I'd rather him than a lot of other options.

Fats on the subject of humor...I happened to stumble into the HOF thread the other day and I re-read that Bernie with May post you did. Seriously...tears were streaming down my face by the time I finished it (and I've read it before!). That has to be some of the funniest stuff I've ever read!

most of the rumors say its the other way around. That the Wiz offered and you guys quickly said NO. Some say that Brown thought he was a headcase or whatever
