MIAMI HEAT (32-31, 15-17 away)
CHARLOTTE BOBCATS (30-31, 22-8 @ home)
7PM Time Warner Cable Arena
Fox Sports Carolinas
Both teams come into tonight's game sporting winning streaks. Miami has won three in a row (GSW, LAL, ATL), two straight victories for our 'Cats (LAL, GSW). Jermaine O'Neal, Dorell Wright, Tyson Chandler and Nazr Mohammed are all listed as dtd. Pussyfoot made a cameo in the two victories, but I guess he isn't healthy enough to be counted on. Gana is out. Skip to my Lou is suspended indefinitely and apparently only communicating with his club via text messaging. Carlos Arroyo has been starting in his absence.

Numbers are stupid, type me some words
Over the course of the season, these two Southeastern Division rivals have produced very similar pace influenced statistics. Defensively, these teams are practically identical. Both control the glass and keep scores low. Miami is one of the few teams to play at a slower pace than we do. Unfortunately for us, they are also better at this style, as demonstrated by their superior efg% and points scored per 100 possessions. This is likely due to the difference in our turnover rates, as we are still the worst in the league, while Miami is the 7th best. Comparing these seasonal numbers to the team stats doesn't show anything too obvious. We shot a better % from the field and from 3 while also winning FTAs in both games, so we must continue to do that tonight, but I think energy and focus will determine which team exit's the arena with their winning streak still in tact.

Since we're not allowed to post mostly nude hot women anymore, I won't even bother. The Heat and Bobcats both have attractive dancing damesquads, if someone else wants to post their favorites or seek out images on their own, they are guaranteed to find a plethora of beauts. I'm flipping things up and picking a symbolic lass that will be representative of tonight's action.

Meet Stana Katic. She's an actor from the show Castle. In the show, her character (Detective Kate Beckett) serves as the yin to Rick Castle's yang. Castle is a pulp fiction writer that is wrapping up his most successful series and searching for his next blockbuster story. By chance, his is placed with Beckett, who quickly becomes the inspiration for Nikki Heat, his new lead character. Formulaic comedy/drama ensues.
Beckett is an excellent detective with a history of cracking crazy cases. She is driven by tragedy (her mother's murder) to work harder than her peers and uses her intellect and sass to accomplish what they cannot. The Bobcats are driven by a desire to no longer be the brunt of NBA jokes, to stop the tragedy of suck. We are at our best when we play within our abilities, creating a greater whole than the sum of our parts. Nikki Heat is a pretender created by Castle to sell books. Though incredibly similar, sex sells, so she has greater name recognition than her more authentic counterpart. This does not make her better, nay, the viewer finds Beckett much more endearing. The Miami Heat have now been allegory'd.
The Bobcats will win tonight. For increased odds, one more image of Current Cronkite Celebrity Crush, Stana Katic (totally alliterated that one).

Be silent tonight whistles, don't fall for the D-Wade bait.
