Which team are we trying to face in the first round? Which team would we match up the best against and could create a upset? my vote would be the hawks, Also I don't include the Cavs because I doubt we fall to the 8th seed

i would def prefer the hawks.

REALLY? Maybe you are right, I mean the Raptors are ONE GAME BACK in the loss column and 1.5 games back total after all--that would take AT least two game to disappear. Good thing there are only 15 games left. NO WAY the Bobcats fall that far! Get a grip. This team has $h!t the bed enough times to know that nothing is a lock--certainly not a **** one game lead.

Meh, I think it's fair to have the opinion we won't be the 8th seed.

Doubting the Bobcats will have the 8th seed is myopic at best.

Eh. We've been playing pretty good basketball lately, but we could fall out of the playoffs entirely. Jax could get hurt in the next game and we could never win again.

I guess a better thread would be "which of the likely top 4 seeds do you want to face", since it implies that we should make the playoffs as a 5,6,7,8. I think most answers would be Hawks still, but I guess some people somewhere were saying they wanted the Cavs for some reason...

Looking at the balance of the schedule, we SHOULD win somewhere from 7-11 of our remaining games. The way this team has been playing in combination with the the way the East is shaping up, 42 wins should be enough to keep us out of the 8 seed.

Oh, and I went with the Celts.

1st Choice: Hawks - Crawford coming off of the bench scares me more than anyone else on that team.

2nd Choice: Celtics - Despite the previous beat downs their health and poor play put them as the second choice. Don't know if that will change with rest between games and the fact that they could possibly flip a switch come playoff time.

3rd Choice: Cavs - Of course we won the season series but the playoffs are completely different. I don't want to see this team.

4th Choice: Magic - They're still the last team I want to face in the playoffs purely because of the style of ball they play. We don't defend the 3 that well and the Magic's whole game is based off of Dwight and the 3 ball.

Celts would be a good matchup for the Cats. I think we would have a reasonable chance to take them.
