Inspired by Slam's comparison of Home vs. Away...

I figured it would be pertinent to see who plays well against the good teams, who plays well against the bad teams, and any discrepancies (that could possibly corroborate Crash's recent remarks).

... So, how exactly did this team manage to beat their fair share of elite teams this year? These numbers ain't good for the playoffs.

Any explanation for Jack?

I don't think the numbers look bad. Wallace and Jackson are doing great, Felton is doing pretty good, and between Diaw and Thomas, we're looking pretty good at power forward. Same with Mohammed and Chandler at center.

I would posit that Jack simply doesn't take some teams as seriously as he should, which is ridiculous given how good he is when he's focused. He's still a 21/5/4 player - but there's no reason his numbers shouldn't be higher (and if he's playing well, the team wouldn't drop some easy games).

The minutes are all quite consistent aside from the last two which I noted.

Most of all, we're a defensive team that plays slow, so we're not going to fill up the stat sheet as well.

obviously the Jax one stands out. This leads me to believe he's the culprit for us losing to bad teams so often. Then I think back and remember that Clippers game and the Pacers game... ugh

hmm, i would like to know Crash's FTA per game in both cases. That'l explain the slight bump.

I understand that, but what about acknowledging his elite play versus the tough teams? What should we value more?

And you could even suggest that it's easier to fill the void in productivity against worse teams (and that seems to be the case in the numbers, given everyone else basically improves in that situation). But it's still clearly something I'd like to see Jack work to improve, as it's something that really shouldn't be the case with a player of his caliber.

7.2 against the .500+ crowd, 7.7 against the less than .500 crowd.

Yea, I wonder about the .500%+ vs sub .500% though. ajbry, is there a place that keeps that data? If not, is this a compilation of averages from a split breakdown or totals that you averaged yourself?

Jacks % stands out because he is taking 25 shots. He has one of the worst shooting % on the team yet he takes the most shots every night.

At the start of the bulls game he came out aggressive and took two quick jumpers missing them both. How about setting the tone for a game by taking the ball to the hole and then getting it going from outside. How about starting the game off with a play that gets somebody an easy look.
