I had no idea.

He was one of the few people I genuinely enjoyed, even discussing non basketball stuff.

RealGM lost a great mod, but the world lost an amazing person. It's people like him that made me wish some of us could get together for a Knicks game, then have a few beers.

The fact that he had all this going on, and continued his great spirit on this board, is a testament to the person he was.

Rest in peace, Mags. You'll be missed, but never forgotten.

I only just saw this. Reading the title shook me, crazy how internet forums have the capacity to connect you with someone you have never seen in real life to this extent. Truly strange.

Really sorry to hear this.
Great tribute Howard.

We grow so close to many posters we talk to every day but rarely think that this is still real life and there are humans behind each user name. Probably people we'd get along with real well in person.
I don't doubt Mags was one of those people.

I was so shocked and sad when I read that Mags passed away... I wanted to post something in his memory a long time ago, but I didn't have the words to express how I felt. All I can say is that I didn't know him a lot, but it wasn't very difficult to feel how kind and polite he was. We had a few talks about BAF and he has always been nice to me.
