I think this would be the best option. With the amount of international talent we have in the league now, it would be most competitive variation that could be made.

Nothing can unite a group of Stars more than national pride and bragging rights for the reason of the year. I'm sure the team that makes up the world squad would love have a more competitive team vs the juggernaut USA squads that they can face in the Olympics/FIBA.

Sorry, I guess I just don't enjoy 190-188 games where it's basically a joke and meaningless. It's become worse than the Pro Bowl.
