Tatum ”only” $32m.

Brown will go to $49m next season when his extension kicks in.

Overpaid.

I did not realize Fred Van Vleet is making more than Luka Doncic until I saw that post, that's crazy

That list has either the star or an invaluable contributor to the last 11 championships, so it's not a bad one to be on. You just don't want to be compared to Brad Beal.

Most of the oldies are finished. They are making all of the money and hurting their teams in the process for past production.

The Supermax on a player’s 3rd or 4th contract makes it almost impossible to build a contender around.

But they sell tickets and viewership. Ownership forcing the GM to keep them around

Pretty impressive roster and wage management by Boston that we don't have any top 15 players in the league.

A great example of how greed destroys everything. Someone pockets all the money and takes away all the team's chances of success.

Paying Kawhi and Paul George bigger money to continue to get worse results. I get why the players want as much as they can get, but the NBA remains a young man's game. Now that the CBA has put in the second apron, you can't just pay a bunch of old guys huge money and fill out the margins with minimums (aka Phoenix).

Even Curry (Green and Klay) should be taking a pay cut, so the team isn't in luxury tax hell. He has that huge Under Armor deal, a TV/Film production deal, a Subway deal. How much more money does he need? And the fans wonder why they can't build another contender around his old ass.

You gave Jaylen Brown the biggest contract in NBA history. That’s not impressive. His extension kicks in next year and when it does he will be number 2 on this list.

The backpay on AD, wow. FVV is one thing, but AD is gong to be on crutches when he reaches $62 million.

I mean it's AD. He's healthy like once in a while, and he's not that old.

He will be closer to 7th highest if you include everyone elses wage increase, but Brown is worth it if it means contending in this season and maybe next season. If thry actually win then it is well worth the investment

He’ll be around 7th and then the year after that probably around 11th-12th. Which isn’t bad considering he’s an all nba player just entering his prime.

Meanwhile, Dame will be paid higher than him for 3 years and is in decline. I know who I’d rather
