Prime Shaq and Kobe lost to a defensive Detroit team without a superstar.
So there's no shame in Jokic losing to the best defensive team in the league.

I want to preface by saying jokic is not the best player in the league. That being said I'm going jokic here. Shaq would be the 3rd best center in today's nba behind embiid and jokkc. Just bc you can dunk with 2 or 3 players draped all over him and lift your knees up before almost tearing the rim down doesnt make you the best player to build around. Shaq can't shoot 3s let alone free throws to save his life. His free throw issues compounded with his inability to stay on the floor bc of foul troubles will be a major hindrance in critical playoff moments without a kobe or wade type to carry him.

I don't think Shaq would get away with the blatant offensive fouls he did back when he played. The way the game is called has really changed.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.
