Chicago doesn't need any more guards so no.

S&T for Wiggins?

He's at least a forward back.

He's better than Paul George at this stage in their careers. If he goes to LAL it'll be a massive steal, if Bron keeps shooting 3s at the rate he did last year they would be a great fit together.

AD
Rui
Bron
DD
Reeves / Knecht

They need better defensive bigs to match up against the Wolves and Nuggets. I don't see them contending with this, but they'd be better.

It is weird that, for whatever reason, PG has always gotten FAR more respect, and thought of as way sexier on paper, when they're actually pretty similar players. Sure, DDR have a bad history of folding in the playoffs, but so does PG. DDR has also always been alot more reliable to play too. Ability they're similar. AVAILability it's DDR by a landslide

Yeah it's obviously at this point now a S&T somewhere. I would assume he'd get something along the lines of $25M a year for 2-3 years.

Who would potentially want him though? And what would the Bulls actually take back in a S&T?

Warriors may have some interest but Wiggins would have to go back and not sure why the Bulls would take that contract on

Denver maybe? Would give them another go to scorer (even though it's not a great fit with Jokic) but MPJ would have to go back and the Bulls would have to throw in another contract (Ball?). Would Bulls want to take a punt on MPJ?

Bucks? Would give them a scorer but it'd have to be Lopez going out to match salaries. Maybe Bulls flip Lopez to a 3rd team for something else?

Cavs? Would have to send out Allen and perhaps Struss. Not a good with with Mitchell though

Sacramento maybe? Would be a good option to put along Sabonis and Fox. But would have to send out Barnes and Huerter, maybe the Bulls would be interested as they are tradable contracts to turn into future picks

What does DeRozan want? Money or a opportunity to compete? If it's the latter, he may take less than his earnings potential with other teams.

Vet min to Boston, go out with a bang.

Seriously though either LA team is probably where he lands.

It's because one shoots a lot of threes and the other doesn't and for many fans that was all that mattered.

Nah, it's because if you regularly choke in the playoffs and can't carry a team, you better learn how to play defense and shoot so you can play next to someone who actually can carry a team.

DeMar is still worth about 30m per year, especially with the contract inflations happening.

Will he get it? No idea.

I can't see it being more than a three year gig, so probably two. As for total, maybe somewhere in the low to mid $50M spot.

Based on the contracts that are being handed out this summer, he's worth roughly James Harden money (2-years, $70M).

He's definitely worth more than Klay Thompson (3-years, $50M), Tobias Harris (2-years, $52M), or KCP (3-years, $66M).

That said, I am not sure which organization gives him that contract.

It isn't weird. Because George is a more accomplished shooter and a considerably better defender, he's a much more valuable player... when he is available. Derozan is traditionally a mediocre volume shooter who folds in the playoffs and has typically been a DREADFUL defender, so there shouldn't be any surprises there...

Wing defense and high volume 3pt shooting. Two of the most desirable skills in the entire league. PG plugs perfectly into every team in the league. Derozan does not.

I'm also going to say that using win shares (a counting stat which rewards you for playing in more games) isn't the best argument considering it had Steph Curry and Jonas Valanciunas as similar impact players last year (JV played all 82 games).
