I can't believe they won with 26 turnovers.

They just got no quit in em and aren't gonna lay down no matter what the scoreboard says. OKC has to play every minute like it's their last because that's exactly how Indy is playing.

He’s just not him in the playoffs, and even if he does get there, you have a chance to go get Giannis, you do whatever you can, especially since you can outbid any other team while still contending for years to come.

JDub is a ghost when he's needed most in the HalfCourt Offense.

I snap move him for Giannis. Snap ****ing decision. They'd have to include Hartenstein/Isaiah Joe to make salaries match but you absolutely want to pair Giannis with SGA. Use some of your remaining warchest of assets to acquire a bigman from Dallas, they have a surplus now.

Still think the Thunder win this series pretty comfortably, but it would be nice to see OKC lose so their fans can pump the brakes on their "dynasty". Figure they would have learned after last time, but nope

im not a prisoner of the moment type of person,,,
,,but indy outrebounded okc 56-39!!! THIS is a repeatable stat. and turner/siakam is a better duo up front that what okc has

and no matter if indy continues to win it will ALWAYS feel disrespected and play like an underdog

i always felt holmgren fed off shai, but he's going to have to step up on his own now without shai's help

Pacers turned it over so much that they only missed 43 shots while the Thunder missed 59 shots which I think explains some of the rebounding difference. The Pacers turned the ball over way too much, but also shot pretty well while the Thunder did not. The only thing I'm confident will repeat in future games is that I won't count the Pacers out till the final buzzer.

Agreed. All the teams the Pacers beat have been overrated, which means Hali is still overrated.

The Pacers grab a 1-0 series lead. First time ever that they have a lead in the NBA Finals.

2000 NBA Finals, lost to Lakers 4-2. Never led in the series.

I aint betting expert, but putting money on Pacers win when they down 8 with around two minutes to go seems like a new wealtfare scheme.

I do not think it is really OKC fans who pumping dynasty talk, just NBA fans in general, seeing the position OKC is at. Putting this on OKC fans is not fair.

It’s absolutely wild that the Pacers are two wins from hoisting the trophy. This has to be the scrappiest team ever.

I really hope they pull this off.

It all comes down to better coaching and tougher mental fortitude overall as a team. Their last 2 playoffs run mold them to who they are now, possibly the most clutch squad in entire playoffs history. Barring a catastrophic injury, Indiana will be a top contender for many years. Congrats Pacers fans, maybe the only team in the past 2 decades or so who never attempted to outright tank to get an elite young prospect and always try to win every single season regardless of the talent they have. Basketball Gods now paying their due to Pacers franchise.

Those teams aren’t necessarily overrated. It’s just the talent is more dispersed in the 2020s vs the 2010s. I don’t think any championship teams from this decade beat any champions from the last decade. This isn’t just a trend but the new normal. If OKC wins this year then they probably won’t next year and same goes for Indiana.

The only champion I would take from this decade to go up against the previous decade is last year's Celtics. I'm also not convinced this OKC team is actually as good as their regular season numbers suggest.

Did not have the pacers on my bingo card at the start of the season or the playoffs.
