14-5-3 1.2 stls and 2.1 TOs on 47-40-82 efficiency, mostly coming off the bench and playing roughly 27 mpg

so I guess he seems to have a solid future in this league as a back-up PG as Portland seems to find success with him being that.

Bruh. In 27 minutes that’s Godlike production you’re out of your mind

The Per 36 #s come out to

19-6.6-4

which, for comparison, a 21 year old Ja Morant averaged 19-7.4-4 in...32 mpg.

So he's playing at a worse pace than a 21 year old Ja Morant

Yeah, if 21-year-old Scoot is a little worse than 21-year-old Ja, then Scoot's ceiling is a backup. That makes sense.

I hope he is right. It was a nice year of all-around improvement, but improvement isn’t always linear or guaranteed. I suspect he’ll improve more, but how much is the key question.

he's a bust but will stay in the league for a long while

scouts/orgs cling to their biases

markele fultz has made 90 mil in this league for doing nothing

I actually thought Scoot Henderson would be better Rookie and Sophomore at first, then Wemby... I was dead wrong.

These threads remind me of all of the Bulls forum threads we've had that hype up our players

"Player X has averaged X over the last 3 games!"

When you have sample sizes that small, it's usually not a good sign.

Scoot will likely be a good pg, nothing more.
He will almost certainly not live up to the hype that many expected from him.
He won't be consistent, for example.

But the year two improvement is encouraging for Portland fans.
LeBron has a 17.8% field goal percentage and a 12.5% 3-point percentage in clutch situations, and also made 20 of 116 game winning/tying shots in 4th/OT during his career

I really like their core of Scoop/Sharpe/Camara/Deni/Clingan
You put vets like Simons/Grant/Ayton/Thybulle/RWill/Murray-that's a deep team
Problem is, no #1 guy but they are positioned to trade for one.

As a Bulls' fan I'm optimistic that the pick they owe us could easily come in 26/27
