I could see Chet and Jalen taking less to stay in OKC. Specifically to Chet, I think he'll end up taking less and having his contract be laden with games-played incentives as is the case with Zion.

In general, I think the NBA's middle class will be most hit, in particular 3 & D guys. Those 4/5-year, $15-$20M/season days are over.

This will definitely not happen. The players association is all about stars getting as much money as they can.

Chet is not a star and is injury prone. He may refuse to take less, that is always possible.

Then they use some of their 29.million first rounders to make deals. They are very much built to be a college team. Young and replaceable with more youth.
