Aside from the one game he played really well, Jalen Green's stats against the GSW were:

G1 - 7 points on 3/15 FG 0/4 3P 1/2 FT
G3 - 9 points on 4/11 FG 1/5 3P 0/0 FT
G4 - 8 points on 3/8 FG 1/5 3P 1/3 FT
G5 - 11 points on 3/8 FG 2/4 3P 3/5 FT
G6 - 12 points on 3/11 FG 1/6 3P 5/6 FT
G7 - 8 points on 3/8 FG 0/2 3P 2/3 FT

He literally disappeared 6 out of the 7 games.

Rockets need to package him with some other assets during the next season and trade for a star guard if they have any aspirations for contending.

Rockets messed up. The kind of hype Sengun had at all-star break, they could have probably gotten Booker for Sengun + a 1st round pick at the trade deadline.

Sengun just doesn't have the touch needed for a guy who can't back down a lot of PFs and Cs in the post. He should have dominated the Warriors.

Not sure how you watched this series and thought Sengun was the problem.

22 years old in his first playoffs. Experienced Warriors team including one of the best defensive players in the league on him.

Booker had KD playing with him and couldn’t even make the play in.

Same case can be made for Green, no? Rockets were actually better with Green on floor than Sengun. Can you believe it?

Realistically Green is a JR Smith level 6th man who is making #2 option money. I dont think he has much if any value.

Sengun is already a better player than Booker and he's considerably cheaper. If you're going to move Sengun you have to get something better than Booker.

Seriously I would take Sengun over Booker. You need to get into the playoffs first and Sengun help you get 2nd in the competitive West. Plus Booker isn't a great defender and the identity of the Rockets was a defensive team. Who is the Rockets going to replace at center.

Y'know part of me was like "who could think this guy was worth trading for" and you just reminded me that there will always be an owner out there that thinks they know better.

Vivek thought pairing DeMar and Zach in Sacramento was going to work when we all saw what they looked like in Chicago. These dudes (owners) live on another planet.

I mean, they looked pretty damn great with Lonzo Ball and if Sabonis didn't miss 15 games i don't think it would have been a total disaster. No one knew Fox was gonna just randomly tank the season either

He would be perfect for a tanking/rebuilding team that wants to get the fans excited.... but that contract is pretty high. He isn't playing winning basketball yet and he's in year 4.

Jalen Green for Jordan Poole makes some sense for both sides... Poole is a little more efficient but also less upside at this point. Both are overpaid.

No reason to sell low. He'll look better by mid season next year and that's when you could trade him for good value. No reason to rush it.

I’ve never been a fan of Green from day 1. I guess a small case can be made but it’s marginal.
