We heard all the same things about RJ plus "ball stopper" "bad defender" "negative player" etc., and RJ immediately turned things around in a new system that forced him to move the ball and play in a different more efficient way. We haven't even seen Ingram as a Raptor yet. Perhaps it makes sense to at least see what he looks like in a new system before declaring he can't possibly be anything other than what he's been elsewhere.

Doesn't the majority of your fanbase want to move RJ Barrett though?

mainly because he's about to get a new very expensive contract after a couple seasons....on his current contract he's fine.

darko's offensive system generates a ton of high quality looks. raptors players missed those shots. i think ingram will see his most efficient year from 2 and 3.

Raptors missed those shots because we don’t have guys that can shoot. Ingram is an above average 3 point shooter for his career but he also likes the ball in his hands and he’s had to be forced to take more 3’s.

Cant wait for Raps fans to come to realisation. When BI takes 5 turnaround pullup long 2s while other team is shooting 3s or getting to the rim you will see how good of a player he is. He is baller for sure, but his playstyle doesnt fit modern NBA at all and he refuses to change. On top of that he misses a ton of time on some weird small injuries that players sometimes play trough. Im happy we got rid of him, i would be happy even if we didnt get anything in return.

How is he as a catch and shooter? and does length from defenders effect his shot? You could shut down DeMar just by putting length on him.

I asume he would be good, but he doesnt do it. That is why it was so frustrating to have him on the team. They woukd pass him the ball, he is semi-open and then instead of letting it fly he dribbles into "his spot" and takes a contested 2. He started taking more 3s last year but they were not catch and shoot but pullup 3s.

He's not going to get a huge next contract. He'll be lucky to get this same contract again. His value around the league is not high.
