Denver's already depleted. they lost two guys from their ring team,,,,, Michael J Porter sucks,,, Murray is off and on. so in terms of depth they really suck and so now you're expecting them to deplete themselves even more just to get one guy who has not proven to be anything since gsw
I'm not saying Denver is a small Market team, but Durant has gone on to play in San Francisco, new York, and Phoenix and those are three big Market cities that can lay out cash
I think Denver is one of small number of teams that make sense. Durant in this fase of his career can't be 1st option on championship team. But were ever he goes, except Denver, he will be 1st option. In New York, do you expect him to stand aside while Brunson runs the show. In Minesotta with Ant it could look a lot like Suns with Booker. He will alter the progres of young talent in young teams - Shengun, Wemby...if he goes there. And won't win.
If he goes to Denver it means he accepted he will play off of Jokic. He is clear upgrade over MPJ, same position, and MPJ will be center of trade.
He is only one of few players I would trade MPJ for because MPJ for sh*t+sh*t doesn't make Denver better.
I agree with you on bench problems in Denver but their problem was not Brown and KCP leaving, as teams who signed them find out, their problem was bench of non NBA players - Cancar, Saric, DJ, Pickett, Tyson, Nnaji, injured rookie Holmes, Strawther and Watson. Even with vet mins you could do better than that.
