just make him sit at home or on the bench like Wall had to. If he has any pride he'll agree to a trade. If he has no shame, like Wall, he'll ruin the rest of his career while still capable of earning another contract.

I have inlaws in Phoenix. Personally I hate it. I love the desert, but that city is just not for me (no shade to those who like it there).

But with that contract I would tell everyone I know to leak out that I have never been happier and plan on living there the rest of my life.

You wanna buy me out? You are gonna have to pay me every penny.

Was this on purpose?

You probably could make the case to buy him out in the old CBA but each $ of salary cap today is far more valuable than it was previously. You can't have dead money on the books for a guy who doesn't play for you anymore.

They will just have to accept the team is not going to be good for the rest of his contract.

I was just trying to say that I get that not every city is for every person. Phoenix just isn't for me personally but for that much money no one would ever know. In fact all you would ever hear from me is exactly what Beal has put out there. If you wanted to buy me out there wouldn't be any discounts because "I was so happy there"

EDIT: Or did you read 'no shade' like I was making a sh#%y pun? In that case, no I didn't do it on purpose.

I think they're just done with him. I personally would've kicked this can down the road until the summer of 2026.

But Ishbia is paying 4 head coaches so i guess go ahead and add Beal's name to the list on guys being paid to go away.

This is a fair point. Often we think about a buy out like it was an amnesty, but his money will still screw with their cap.

And it isn't like he is going to get another massive pay day. The guy is getting $110 mil over the next two years. I'd be shocked if he managed to make that much for the rest of his career.
