IMHO Jokic-Giannis would be the best hypothetical duo ever.

We already saw the best combo possible Kobe/Shaq

Maybe only Kobe/TD would be better

I think this is a great answer. You probably couldn't find a better compliment to each other when it clicked. Kobe being a good all around player along with his all-time shot making made him perfect with Shaq. Only thing is we saw how it ended. I wonder if would've ever got off the ground with a non-Phil Jackson coach due to egos.

Obviously Jordan and Lebron. It'll take time for them to sync (like Lebron/Wade) but that's pretty unstoppable when it does.

Another fun one is Duncan/Curry. They might be near the top just based off team vibes.

Giannis is not on the level of the true elite big men. Sorry.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

Uhm, Giannis doesn't really play as a big so you're right.

But, if we rephrase it to "one of the all time greats that happen to be big", Anteto belongs there.

Giannis' at his best is driving to the rim like D Rose (allow me just for the sake of the debate) but 20 cm taller and with freakish stride length and wingspan.

Well... hard to disagree lol.

I see some overlapping, though, both in plays and where them both would want to get the ball.

He is allowed to offensive foul at will

Any high level team would stuff the paint and force him to hit jumpers

He is also very dependent on being the most athletic player on the court

Great player…not a top tier guy all time imho

The one I’ve always wanted to see is peak Curry and peak Shaq with 3&D guys.
