Which All Star Gets Traded Next?
Free agency hasn’t even started and we are seeing a ton of trades to shed salary, who’s next?

Joker. Nuggets Owner already insinuated a scenario where they would trade him. Denver isn't going anywhere in the next few years. Terrible FO that can't keep key players and can't make any moves. It wouldn't surprise me. They could get back a haul. If Bane can fetch 4 1st rounders, Jokic will get you 10 + the owners daughter.
Also, Sabonis a star now?

Re: Which All Star Gets Traded Next?
I think Boston is going to seriously consider trading Jaylen Brown if the right offer comes along.
I just don't see how they gamble on both Tatum/Brown both making 300mil a piece and trying to build around those 2. Tatum might not return the same player and then they really screwed.

If they move Jokic, they better get the greatest return in history. While Denver is not really acontender, they aren't far enough away to merit blowing it out.Optms wrote:Joker. I think Giannis is the more obvious choice, especially if we're talking superstars. Giannis can't be very happy with the prospect of sticking around with Dame turning Dame turning 35 in a couple of weeks and requiring missing the majority of next season due to his Achilles year. Milwaukee is nowhere close to contender level, even after Dame is back to full health in 2026-27, where he'll be 36 coming off a major injury.

Im going to say Zion so that Dumars ensures that the Hawks get the best pick possible.

He should be more angry at the fact that he's playing with an organization that thought it was a good idea to pair him with Kyle Kuzma and Doc Rivers. Blows my mind he hasn't asked out.

Re: Which All Star Gets Traded Next?
That's not what Kroenke insinuated. He said they are going to present the extension. He has no idea if Jokic will sign it. If he refuses to take it, the organization will re-evaluate. That's not an unreasonable position to take from an ownership position.

I agree. They’re clearly serious about shedding salary, and I can’t imagine they want to pay a declining player $240MM over the next 4 years who they don’t need. I imagine after the incredible deals they made for Jrue and Porzingis they’re trying to really wait for a perfect offer to extract as much value as possible, but it seems like there’s a lot of interest and I think they’ll land on something eventually.

This is just wishful thinking on your part. The Nuggets are not trading Jokic. Josh Kroenke just said something stupid regarding an extreme hypothetical case and thirsty/bored media clamped on it.

Re: Which All Star Gets Traded Next?
We had those Reports that Dumars will try to trade Zion, but after trading their first round pick, that move would be even more puzzling. Still tho, that man is just destroying the team so my first bet would be ZIon. Giannis would be my second pick. Ironically, that pick they traded will be more favorable of Pelicans, Bucks one...

European star players tend to be more loyal to their team.

Giannis is not asking out and reporting by espn is just plan bull Giannis himself threw shade at their reporters for suggesting he is open to to going somewhere else he will retire a buck. And if you don’t think Giannis is happy you don’t know him his family is his life and he is living the greatest life right now.

Re: Which All Star Gets Traded Next?
Well I was just throwing up of the superstars who seemed more likely to be moved than Jokic. Zion or Embiid seems like the obvious choices for All-Star, but I can't imagine they fetch much in return at this point.Packbuckman wrote:dautjazz wrote:If they move Jokic, they better get the greatest return in history. Re: Which All Star Gets Traded Next?
Kings situation would be one to keep an eye on. Their trade history over the past few years has been ... Bad, to say the least. This "Sacramento Bulls" thing was probably just an asset gathering move (which would make sense since the fit is bad), but then again we are talking about the Kangz. There have been rumors of the Kings looking to get Kuminga. Maybe move Keegan to the 3 and possibly trade Demar instead? I personally would rather build around Lavine/Sabonis and give Keegan Murray a better role within the offense. But we all know that core isn't winning anything and they should just rebuild again.
Other than the Kings players, Zion could be traded since Joe D is down in the bayou doing his job with a blindfold and a dart board.
Minny probably wants to upgrade from Julius but won't find a deal good enough to justify the value they believe he has.
The Celtics should only make moves if they make sense, and I'm not sure if there is a deal out there that really makes a ton of sense for them this year unless they can flip White or Brown for the few other players in the league that are actually better than them at their individual price ranges.
And Giannis? Who knows.

The trades on paper that make most sense…
Brown for Hali
Garland/Mobley for Giannis
Randle (to 3rd team)/Dillingham/Rights to Beringer for Melo Ball
