Jalen Suggs / Tyus Jones
Desmond Bane / Anthony Black / Jase Richardson
Franz Wagner / Tristan Da Silva / Jett Howard

His defense may always be bad, but he can learn to make better rotations to clean it up a bit, realistically speaking.

Not only that, but he’s surrounded by all + defenders off the bench (Black/Isaac/Goga).

Forgot to add Penda who Weltman has said is going to also get a contract.

Mo Wagner will be back some time next season too. Reporters are saying it’s not finalized but he is expected to resign

One year? They know we're not going to be able to afford anyone next season, right?

What happened? I don't watch Phoenix.

I like this deal. Hopefully he can be a better version of what Cory Joseph (still can't believe he played a real role for us last season, lol.) was last year, running the second unit and starting in spots. Hopefully he doesn't lose his jumper on the way to Orlando like so many other players seemingly do. And hopefully we don't put too much of a hole in our defense, but hey our offense needs all the help it can get even if it costs some a little backup defense.

Now hopefully we bring back Moe Wagner and then we're pretty set. Could use another scoring guard, I guess. But it would have to be like the minimum, if we even have roster spots at all. Time to remove my sig soon, I guess.

First Magic PG that isn't fundamentally broken since... Nelson 15 years ago. Yeeey.

Doesnt Orlando again have too many point guards? They got rid of Cole but now have Black, Richardson, Jones, Cory Joseph and Suggs? Why?

He couldn't get Booker, Beal or Durant to play off the ball, so he was forced to the bench, since the whole point was bringing him in to run the offense. He was not good playing off the ball and being asked to spot up shoot only. I think the experience may have humbled him. You can start on a bad team or you have to come off the bench on a good team. If he was starting in Orlando (he won't be thankfully), his skillset is wasted if you're expecting him to make catch and shoot jumpers.

But as a bench playmaker to keep the team organized for 15-20 minutes a night that has proven to be something he can do well. And it all comes back to the fact that even at his size, he's just not an elite shooter. Merely decent.

-- Jase Richardson is an undersized shooting guard.

-- Corey Joseph is an UFA.

-- Suggs probably starts at the point, but he is a combo guard because of his length and ability to scale up defensively.

-- Anthony Black can handle, but at 6'7, he's not really comfortable running the point against pros. His eventual future may be as a wing who can handle the ball a little. He's just not good enough getting to the rim off the dribble at this level.

1.Cory isnt with us anymore

2.Since when did a contending team rely on a late FRP rookie like Jase.

3. Suggs is not a pure PG

4. AB has shown a lot... but not really PG skills yet
