Randolph isn’t getting punked by Roy Hibbert in the playoffs. Randolph is putting up goose-eggs against old man Duncan in the playoffs.
Listen I love ZBo, those Grit n' Grind Grizzlies teams were some of my all-time fav teams.
He wasn't better than Chris Bosh.
Bosh never was the offensive focus of any winning team. He is utter crap against the Nets when he was with the Raptors as the offensive focus. He made one all-nba team his entire career. Bosh scores ZERO points in a game 7 against the Spurs. He got utterly DOMINATED by old-man Duncan in that 7 game series. And that is Bosh in his supposed prime. Freaking Roy Hibbert clowned him in the ECF. Look up his numbers in those playoff series. He was HORRIBLE!!!
Zbo and the 8th seeded Grizz upset the Spurs in the first round in 2011. Zbo averaged 21 and 9 shooting 50%. That's against Duncan as the main focus point on offense. Frankly that series from Zbo is better and more impressive than anything Chris Bosh ever did in the playoffs.
Some examples of Prime Bosh in the playoffs:
Bosh against Duncan (old man Duncan BTW) and the Spurs in 2013 (where the Heat win 4-3): 12 & 9, 46% including scoring zero points in game 7.
Bosh against Duncan (old man Duncan) and the Spurs in 2014 (where the Spurs win 4-1): 14 & 5, 55%.
Bosh against the Pacers in the ECF in 2013 (where the Heat win 4-3): 11 & 4, 37%
Bosh against the Pacers in the ECF in 2014 (where the Hear win 4-2): 16 & 6, 48%
Heck, against OKC in the Finals, he only averaged 15 & 9 on 45%. These are horrendous numbers when no one on the opposing defense is focused on him with Lebron & Wade taking all the attention.
The one time Bosh was the offensive focus in the playoffs, his Raptors got swept by the 6th seeded Nets. Bosh averaged 18 & 9 on 40%. This was against Mikki Moore, Jason Collins, and Josh Boone as the primary defenders.
Face it, Bosh was a complete weak player who never showed up in the playoffs. It's an utter travesty that he's in the HOF. He never makes the HOF if he plays in the west with the real PFs like KG, Dirk, Duncan, Webber, Amare, Pau, LMA, Zbo, etc. The only reason he made those all star teams was because the Raptor fans kept voting him in. He was never a top tier player. Never showed up in the playoffs.
