Luka or the Lakers front office have failed if he doesn’t win a ring. I would suspect the front office would be more to blame if he goes without a championship.

Donovan is the only other player on this list I think sniffs a championship.

Everyone else would be a shock if they won a chip. I mean….Russ changes teams like every year so I guess by accident he could win one.

I don't see a reason to think otherwise at this point.

Considering the status of the West, nothing is guaranteed.

We had a whole decade of Jordan running the East and that basically killed any of Patrick Ewing’s chances. When he did make the finals he lost Olajuwon and he lost to Duncan.

Right now the most recent champion is in the West and their average age was 25.6. Luka also has to deal with the remaining years of prime Jokic, whatever the Rockets become, Ant Man and Minnesota, and who knows what great team could pop up in the West.

The best comparison for Luka’s career is KD’s career. KD and Luka had the same trajectory, except KD won an MVP. GSW comes out of nowhere and steals OKC’s best years. The difference is KD then joins a prime GSW, Luka was shipped to LA and will basically be their rebuild and transition out of an era.

And? That's it? Just going to throw in a blanket statement with no context?

I think out of those options only Luka and Mitchell have a realistic chance at winning a championship…just my opinion though. Embiid and George in Philly aren’t winning this year. Lilliard is back in Portland. I dont see the Clippers winning and thats Harden and Paul. Not sure why Towns is listed on here, why is he a future HOF inductee?

If the league went to those lengths to get Luka to the Lakers the league will also go to lengths to get him to win with the Lakers, shipping him there was essentially tapping him as the next face of the league. Their roster might be flawed this next season but LeBron's contract is over after that and Luka is essentially playing for a discount because of the trade. LA is going to have space and will land some names before the 2027 season that will make a lot of people very angry, they always do. The odds are very high that Luka will be getting at least one title in the not too distant future, barring a catastrophic injury

Most of those guys are a year or two away from retirement. Luka, KAT, and Mitchell are the only ones with a real shot still.

Considering how non-existent Reeves was in the playoffs vs. Minnesota, i wonder if any stars will want to play with Doncic...
Kyrie Irving is a genius at playing with ball-dominant stars (he won a ring with LeBron), but i doubt most stars will enjoy playing with Doncic.
We'll see who comes, and we'll see if Doncic is ever athletic enough to beat OKC and Houston.
Amen Thompson is a freak of nature!

Luka, Mitchell and KAT all have a reasonable chance since they're all still pretty young and they all play for good teams. They're in a completely different tier of likelihood than everyone else on the list.
