What would Luka need to do to be associated as a Laker over a Mav in his career?

Well the Lakers won't be reaching the NBA Finals in the next 5 years, because OKC and Houston are FAR too athletic, and KD is the best shooter in NBA history and gets better with age as i detailed in my audio recording today!
So the Lakers have FAILED to find the athletic excellence or the defensive excellence necessary to contend...

Rubbish. Just sour grapes on your part.

Watching the Wolves win 4-1 wasn't sour for me, but it was sour for LeBron/Luka/Austin, because they weren't athletic enough... and it damaged Austin's reputation especially.
And Ayton is known for defensive lapses, so more sourness on the way
If i was building a team the first players i'd choose would be Kevin Durant and Amen Thompson, not LeBron and Luka...

His new extension is just the beginning.
I view him as a Laker now. Championships will be next once the payroll is figured out.

Doesnt even need Chips. If he's there for a decade+ including (hopefully) his best prime years, he'll be associated with them far more than the Mavs.

People are grossly overstating how much he is associated with the Mavericks based on legacy. It would be one thing if he actually won a title with the Mavs...it won't take much.

Play his prime years with the Lakers and lead them on some longer playoff runs.

Mavs traded Luka right as he was beginning his theoretical prime. We've never seen something like this happen with an MVP candidate.

When I think of other MVP types who changed teams after playing their whole careers with one, it either happens early (Shaq age 24), or later (KG aged 30). Kareem became a Laker at age 28, and we mostly remember him as a Laker. KD left OKC at age 28, but played for several more teams. Nash left at 30 but was so much better for the Suns than the Mavs. Barkley left Phili at age 28, and was most iconic as a Sun as well.

Pretty sure winning a ring would put him over the top immediately.

A title.

And sadly in this era (and going forward) a highlight reel. You need a mixtape so 20 years from now kids will know that "Luka was a problem" and the jersey he is wearing in those videos is gonna matter (in this context)

And a hype man. Stephen A will be looking for a new dude to do the MJ debate with after Lebron.

Luka could be that guy

He'll be considered a Laker over a mav within a spectrum of points in time. Some have already deemed him a true Laker. I do too because I already see into the future that he'll be here a hella long time.

GO LAKERS
8-)
I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.
