The part where you tried to put words in my mouth, namely the entire thing.
So it wasn't you that, after mounting detailed circumstantial evidence has been presented of now 48 million total in assets being promised to Kawhi (which is pretty close to the dollar amount of 50 million given personally by Ballmer to Aspiration), stated:
but someone would need to show that Ballmer knew about the deal with Leonard and didn't bother to report it to the league.
Got it.
Do you honestly think that Ballmer, whose primary focus after leaving Microsoft has been the Clippers, would not be aware and abreast of the process it took to win the Kawhi sweepstakes against several other teams vying for his services?
If you were paying any attention to what I wrote, you would have realized I wasn't writing about what "I honestly think" rather "what in my opinion needs to happen to nail Ballmer".
Others have already mentioned previously that the league office can and will act based on ample circumstantial evidence. They don't need a veritable smoking gun before they take action. And that's against the Clippers organization and Ballmer both.
So yes. I did read what you stated. And unless you are talking about legal trouble (which you failed to mention) then you're still incorrect.
