I've seen a few excerpts of this interview on Hoopshype, and my first thought was it doesn't bode well for Bucks fans going fowards. But then again I have been on pain killers and hardly had any sleep in the last 3 days due to arthritis in my right ankle and toes, so maybe I mis read it.

He said that wants to play in Europe for 5 years, so I guess just after his contract expires

More likely he goes over there when he's 40 and washed. He'll still be easily the best player in Europe if he can do more than walk.

Explain what you interpreted that won’t bode well for Bucks fans?

Hes not Luka, Giannis without athleticism isnt best player in Europe, come on. He obviously wont play 5 years in Europe, at least at high level he wont. He will likely do what Marc Gasol did.

Not really. He would need way more finesse and shooting to pull that off. But if he goes there at 37, it would be interesting.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

If by "Europe", you actually mean China, then maybe.

Come on now, you're becoming the SpursNani::Jokic of Giannis. Your first thread was polemically phrased but had some decent discussion mixed in with the detritus. But the more times you just jump in with over the top criticism, the less chance folks will actively engage in discussion.

He has won media awards because of the media becoming Giannis FC, due to the Mickey mouse title he won.

Giannis' has shown this season he isn't that good. If he turns over 1st option offensively to Dame, he will be a much better player defensively, overall, and respected by real basketball fans.

Strike issued for self-own. You're clearly full of nonsense and it's dragging down the quality of discussion. -b

You clearly have an agenda, and don't even follow the current NBA news.

Yeah, he's not gonna do that. Rumours have been going on, but II'm not going to believe it until I see. I don't have an agenda, I support my opinions with facts, but you stans will always hate me for showing the fact that your hero is overrated. If he stops being #1 offensively, he will be a much better player and respected by real basketball fans, but if he's not, he will stop being top 10 in the league objectively.

LOL, no. I meant Dame isn't even on the Bucks. But I'm a stan for pointing out that "You don't even follow current NBA news".

By the way, who are the "Real basketball fans", you?

Ok, so IF he HAD given Dame the #1 option offensively, then I have Giannis much higher. Let Giannis become the #2 option offensively, then he will be respected by real basketball fans, and objectively much better at basketball.

The real basketball fans are the ones who are objective and watch games, I am one of them, yes, and there are others.

Unlike Dame, Giannis has won an NBA championship as a first option. I can see we're not having an unbiased conversation in good faith. Just say you don't like the guy, but don't try to diminish his accolades(Ring, MVP, FMVP, and DPOY) while propping up Damian Lillard, as if it's even a conversation to be had.

Good day sir.

Giannis' won an NBA championship in a league full of injured players. The competition was so easy the Bucks went 2-0 without Greek Brick in the playoffs. Just say you love the guy, but don't try to upbring his accolades while diminishing his ATG support, as it's even a conversation to be had...

The talent level in Europe has been garbage for 20 years since all the good players went to the NBA. I know that hurts you but you need to accept it.
