It’s also interesting because Denver arguably overachieved a bit in the playoffs due to the inexperience (Thunder) and incompetence (Clippers) of their opponents, as both coughed up game 1s. With home court like OKC had, that can easily be the difference between a 5 game series and a 7-gamer. They made the exact same error the exact same way vs Indiana actually
So even tho they didn’t really add to their roster, I assume OKC will be a much better playoff team this season (even if the reg season win total is less) just off of experience and better execution.
All valid points, way too soon to think about Denver's playoff chances as they have made not only roster moves but are also according to reports, are installing a new defensive system under Adelman
Okc can def be better with experience and internal growth in the postseason but as for the rs, i exepect the natural championship "hangover", we might see them more on cruise control during the rs, last season they were going all out
Nuggets aren't particularly dependant on Murray in the rs. They need him to be himself in the playoffs to have a shot, but injuries aside - he's simply not a very productive or consistent rs player, just an average one. with Brown back and young guards like Strawtether possibly making a jump (i really like their two-way Curtis Jones and think he will carve himself a spot in the rotation), losing Murray here and there wouldn't be a big issue in the rs
Nuggets with an actual bench and a legit back Center on paper, are the best rs team in Jokic's era
