It would be nice to have a GOAT debate in which the answer wasn't MJ.

But the answer is MJ.

I don't think I even think of MJ as bald, but there are pics of Kobe where you think "man that's a bald head he has there."

I never thought Kobe was handsome, his head looks too short, a lot shorter than MJ's.

Again it's MJ, the answer is always MJ.

If we Do The Knowledge, we know that MJ may have shaved his head bald because of Onyx but Men around the world were shaving their head to be Like Mike.

I've added a couple of options in the poll. Feel free to add dark horse contenders or underrated ones.

But also I will add Brian Cardinal. You don't get nicknamed "The Janitor" for having hair.

I don't think so, he was on billboards and glossy magazine ads at the time too. It wasn't a matter of low resolution.

Heavily airbrushed billboards accentuating his features as well as by that point the ball was already rolling per marketing adverts etc.

Further.. Per chatgbt:
Why Celebrities Looked Better on CRT TVs
1. Softer Image
• CRTs had lower resolution, so skin looked smoother and more even. Fine lines, pores, and makeup edges were blurred out naturally.
2. Warm Color Palettes
• CRTs often had slightly warmer tones, which made skin look healthier. Today’s LEDs and OLEDs are very color-accurate (sometimes unforgiving).
3. Lighting + Makeup for CRT
• Makeup artists in the ’80s and ’90s designed looks specifically for CRT. Heavy powder, bold blush, and defined lips read perfectly on those screens but can look overdone in 4K.
4. “Glow Effect”
• CRTs had a kind of natural bloom/soft glow that gave celebrities a more cinematic, flattering look.
5. No Ultra-HD Scrutiny
• On CRT, you didn’t see every bead of sweat or eyelash. In today’s 4K/8K broadcasts, celebs sometimes look too real, which can be jarring.

Examples
• 90s TV stars like Jennifer Aniston on Friends or Will Smith on Fresh Prince — looked flawless because the CRT softened everything.
• Pop stars like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Beyoncé in the early 2000s — their glossy looks were designed for music videos shown on CRTs.
• Sports and news anchors often looked more polished back then, since studio lighting plus CRT blur made them look “airbrushed.”

Etc.. This era of 4K ultra zoom on his bald spot and poor snapshots he wouldn’t be seen the same. Kobe on the other hand would’ve thrived in the social media age when he had a hair/fro.. it’s not even a debate.

Jordan's bald head looks great still today in 4 or 8 or whatever K it is now...
