Please.
First, on opening night in OKC, they went to double OT (or was it triple?) and had KD(!) hit either ft he missed at end of regulation to mention one of many careless plays, they give the Thunder their only loss so far this season. Then again in Detroit they play very sloppy and lost a 4 point game to what we are coming to understand might be a pretty damn good team, and in their games against under .500 opposition..which again, this early on, might mean anything, they have been winning by massive margins except Dallas where they only won by 8. And some games weren’t even as close as they seemed, for example they beat Boston by mid 20’s but were up mid 30’s when they sent in the mop-up squad.
Now, will they have some issues with teams who can show consistent supported ball pressure, like OKC did? I think so, but it’s improving and not too many teams can do that as well, and like I mentioned, even in their first live action without FVV, facing fantastic supported ball pressure the game is theirs if not for a fluke. So, yeah, there’s a reason people are so high on their start.
